Your semi right there. As an indicator of the market i sold my 93 wrx after 2.5 yrs ownership for 2700 last week it was a very clean unmodified car with 88500+ miles, but i only paid £4080 for it as an fresh import and taking into acount that was 2.5 yrs ago. Your car looks a nice clean well lucked after example but i think you will be lucky to get 3500-3750 tops. The problem is there's plenty of cars out there and yes many are abused and battered but that still drags the price down for the looked after ones.

It took nearly 4 weeks for mine to go, a few people wanted it but they were offering stupid money saying they can get one for £2000. If you are patient though a buyer who knows a good example and wants a well looked after one will come along and pay that bit extra. So stick with it be patient and you will get a good price, but i fear not the amount you want.

As for you Neutral Cruiser, the car was used properly on track and up the pennines and never once was there a problem with the gearbox, you must just be a poor driver!!!

4950!?
I would have thought this would have startedc coming down after weeks at a high price. Alas no, the price seems to be going up in line with housing market! Strange economics.
