Not sure about yorke think hes passed it although his experience will be of benefit to the younger players and never know he may do ok in the championship.

Varga apparently did ok for celtic and the rest add to the irish contingent, will get to see some of them against germany tomorow

Think we could have done with another keeper but supose could get one in on loan

But with the legend that is Niall Quinn as chairman & Keane as manager the season is looking quite positive.
Good luck with Liam Miller.

I'm surprised we didn't have to pay you to take him.

Not so sure about cover for Finnan, but we could have done with hanging on to Djimi, the way we're getting through left backs

Bellamy & Pennant appear at the moment to be pretty good signings, Kromkamp's gone in a last minute deal & Carson's getting some first team experience, so overall I'd say happy

PS I said thirteen months ago that Crouch was the future of English football and you all laughed at me

And we still laugh

Proving Liverpool still like to lump it upfield, once Rooney is back he might get 20 minutes at the end if things aren't happening, Defoe was streets ahead of Crouch in all depts apart from heading maybe
