My 3 way AST's do just that and are perfect otherwise, just very low speed 'concentrated' surface change like a hump. Only the rear nearside (hard to tell which side tbh)
One way AST's never did anything untoward.

Can the bush brackets be undone enough without having to remove sub-frame etc..?

Does PowerStation do the Poly / Nylon bushes for 04 Newage JDM. Thinking I would be aswell change all the bushings at the same time. Or does anyone know where i can get a full set.

I would like a set of AST Sportline Kit coilovers with 50/40 springs if group buy is available for £700+vat.

They are going on my 2002 STI 7 and to be used mainly on the road, but dont want too hard a setup as quite like my shocks with the eibach springs but they are starting to knock, surprise surprise

ps I have whiteline Anti roll bars front and rear with whiteline bushes and drop links with full geometry, would this be a good setup?

Andy,

well that and the two way struts, arbs and ALK (not that I am going to modify this car).

My understanding is the GB is 1200 plus VAT?

Let me know here or PM.

Cheers,

David

Stage 4 3 way adjustable £2200 + vat (£300 discount)

All the above include fitting and geometry

AST Sportline Kit only Classic and newage £700 + VAT (£150 discount)
I believe this price does not include fitting or delivery. Anyone needing fitting and delivery cost please PM powerstation or fuzz and post prices on this thread.

Bumpsteer mod £140+vat.

Ok guys i'm off now, hopefully we'll have 10 or more names by the time i get back.
Think the above covers prices

Will get it booked in then - will you be wielding the spanners?

What springs do you recommend? I had the ASTs on the STi V and didn't really rate them to be honest. Want the car nice and stuck on the track and driveable on the road. Performance above comfort

Give us chance to find out if it's still on
Might be me, might be Curtis, who knows.

Curtis is the man to ask on recommendations as he's constantly got something new up his sleeve.

David: 60/50 on an Sti v3 is great on track, and same on A roads. Bit hard going on B's though.

Graham,

I have a lardy new age so they are probably perfect.

When I put the ASTs onto my STi V I was a bit disappointed - I think the springs were simply too soft. This was a while ago and I think everyone has learned since then.

I would prefer the harder and live with it than softer and not rate it

When I had my one-ways fitted at PowerStation Curtis said he would start on the car with 50/40 which were the 'ideal' for the heavier New Age so a bit stiffer for the Classic.

He was spot-on. (in hindsight)

I asked him later (after 6 hillclimb events) to fit stiffer springs, the 60/50.

On track these are better ...just...and more compromising on the roads. The AST's will soak-up potholes surprisingly well even on 60/50.

Your New Age might be better off with the 60/50 as it is heavier?
The car I feel would still be track driving bias though.

Hope this helps. As you say, a lot more is known now compared to 4 years ago when i started hillclimbing the Sti v3 I have after my 911.

The 911 is MUCH stiffer than the Sti is today, and fantastic on a track (stunning) but a pig on the road at speed.

Too stiff can be too much.(!)
