I'm off down to see the Reading game... can't bloody wait!!

It's about time we had a real chance from finishing in mid-table mediocrity.... but we need the takeover now though... he may be a decent enough manager, but you can't polish a turd. So we need some player investment and that will be a xmas and birthday in one..

Up the Villa!!

Yep now Villa have ONeill they will finish in mid table mediocrity as opposed to if they hadn't signed O'Neil when they would have finished in mid table mediocrity
As an aside, I think a takeover that benefits the club and lubricates the coffers, along with ONeill coming on board, will steady the sinking Behemoth...

You misunderstand. You may not be able to polish a turd, but you can dress it it up to look better than what it is, like an Evo.... (sorry, couldn't resist ) if you're willing and able to do it that is.

I think O'Neil has that talent. Everyone reckons he's good. Why was he one of the favourites to manage England?

Even if we don't get the investment, he'll be able to do something in a season or two.. Did someone mention Bolton?

McClaren took boro to the Uefa cup final. Doesn;t mean much nless you win the thing.

It's a piece of **** to win the league or cups in Scotland if you are Celtic or Rangers as proved by Strachen and Mcliesh (better record than MON by the way).

with little cash to spend at Villa he will do *** all.

You forgot about Chris Sutton and Neil Lennon

He knows the style of football he wants his team to play and given the money will make them hard to beat. Don't expect it to be too exciting though. Unless he is lucky enough to inherit a Henrik Larsson
