We were chatting to the staff about it when we went there a week or so ago.
They were more concerned about the gay event happening there over a whole weekend.
Not a day to browse the lovely gardens I bet. Or ride the Black Hole.

I think its awefull that there singling out muslims or whichever religion are only allowed in! 
It can't be good for the surrounding areas! Im not racist but people I know of would start fights over something like this!
They should just keep it as public park!

I wonder whose idea it was? Whether it was the muslim community itself, Alton Towers management, or some politically correct New Labour councilor's attempt at the social engineering that drives their 'Multi Culturalist' ideals?
I am genuinely shocked that these sorts of things are happening.

What happens if a white Muslim turns up, do they have to produce a proof of Muslim credentials, is the assumption that anyone with slightly darker skin is a Muslim, are the Alton Towers gate staff trained in spotting Muslims ?
