It looks very nice Simon. But I think that red calipers are starting to look a liitle old now.

can i ask what black paint you used on the brake discs to cover up rust??

The black is simply hammerite... gave them a good wire brush down first.

I know the Red's well used Darren but it matches with the Blue car just right... as Kev have done his Black and Gold to match his colour scheme.

Well since we have a big show this sunday and i think i have all day saturday to clean the car, me thinks the wheelarches could be in for a treat.

Done the calipers already a while back,so does anyone have a good step by step guide on how to clean and finish the arches ? or should i stop being lazy and use the search function

My old classic was DBM (my00) and i painted my brakes yellow, looked really good against the blue paint and was different to everyone elses

Only got a crap picture but you get the idea

You can cheat with the letters paint the caliper and then a bit of wet and dry paper on a block rub the letters, clean the paint and it'll give you shiny letters
