We use a bigger Diameter cat( making sure it doesn't rub or knock on the bulk head ) to let more GAS through so there isn't any restriction in flow over a de-cat pipe ( i'm not saying that there is with a Ninja though )

We spent a long time developing our Ninja dp with ff cat, including testing several different designs. The finished version uses the largest diameter 100 cell cat available from the factory that fits the Impreza without rubbing/knocking.

We've sold close to one hundred of the Ninja downpipes in the few short months they've been available, some have gone to customers going from decat dp to Ninja catted dp - and all feedback has been extremely positive.

To clarify, H&S do make our Afterburner systems for us, but our Ninja systems are made by another factory.

We have our Ninja dp's with sports cat made overseas and buy in large bulk quantities, allowing us to offer them at a very good price.

Neil,

Any idea's when the downpipe for the newage will be avaliable? If soon will it be the same price?

Neil,
How loud would this downpipe be with a Racebox Catback system with integrated silencer compared to the standard Classic MY99 system? Would you consider a discount on the system if purchased with this downpipe?

Paul.

Not sure on actual dB (not measured it), but the Racebox is our most 'subtle' exhaust, and they never sound overly 'loud'. I'm sure we could work out a package price for you - give us a call 01509 853 502 (office hours)

So can we add our names for the new age to this groupby? rather then trying to do another one at the time? (as buyers will be limited then) Maybe we can pay a small deposit so to confirm the sale...(when arivial dates are confirmed)

This will also help the guys here who are wanting the classic pipes also..

Cool...no worries.

For when the downpipe is ready, will it require a classic centre section like the TSL Thundercat does?

I would also be interested in a newage when stock arrives.

Good GB for classic owners.

Neil - I'm interested as I have a full decat at the moment on a classic STi 6 and mapped by AndyF. However I don't wan the MOT emissions hassle. So if I get one of these downpipes to replace my decat downpipe will there be any loss in power and will I have to get it remapped again?

You won't loose much over a decat with the Ninja mate (maybe 2 or so bhp).
Have a look at what my car achieved.

Thumbs up

We have the first factory finished New Age Ninja Sports DP being fitted to our STI 2005 the week after next. We'll also be putting it through an mot to fully test it.

If all goes well (as expected) first stock will arrive with us within a few weeks.

Provisional price is £299.99 (same as classic model)
