Here was mine.
1.8vti civic. Was only 185bhp or so but boy did it pull and the fact it looked like a grandads car was always a nice surprise to the repmobiles when i kept up with a few of them. revved round to 8.5k, sounded awesome. Was very quick top end too. i wont antagonise by posting what where , when etc and weather conditions for all the righteous people but it was nippy.

Loving Grahams classic 911
First worthwhile car was when I was 19, 2.0 8v Mk2 Astra GTE.......
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/kin_quick/gte.jpg)
Loved it to bits, had it 4 1/2 years, had a 1974 Series III Landy at the same time.......
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/kin_quick/landy3.jpg)
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/kin_quick/landy5.jpg)
Used it properly
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/kin_quick/landy2.jpg)
Then got the Beverian Beastie (flame suit on)

This car served its purpose sooooo well whilst living in London

Refined, relaxing and not too bad performance. But when I moved to Herts, that was when it was time to get a gearstick and 4WD!!!!

Photo taken at Gurston Down.
The car my dad had before his subaru. 160bhp Motorbuild tuned engine, uprated suspension and brakes, bloody quick and the best handling car ever! No need for a stereo with a 104db straight through exhaust system! Unfortunately he had to have a back operation which meant that he couldn't get into it, so it had to go

Still keep in touch with the guy who's got it now, he's doing sprints and hills with it and doing pretty well too, the last i'd heard he had set a few new class records.

Sometimes wish i still had, as well as the scoob
but at the time i had to sell due to my job situation. Never mind at least its getting used for what it was intended for. Hopefully going to try and make it to an event and see it compete.
