HI Wendy, welcome to Scoobynet, and Subaru Ownership.....

I 'kind of' organise the Dorset are meets, it'd be good to see some new faces, indeed, it'd be good to see faces full stop......

Your car looks very nice, but i'm not convinced that it's an STI, more like a WRX.......non sti.......

Here's mine......

funny that, my car was great (and still is) at pissing off my ex-wife

as they said , it looks an odd shape, extra's, styling for an STI.
suggest you have a look at your V5 document and see what that says.

RON, has one of the nicest classic's going in your area (plus he has a rare combination of classic and NO SPOILER) and he does a lot with the local organising so see what he has to offer in terms of advice.

your car is the colour of a type-r or RB5 but has all the styling all wrong..i am sure someone can put you straight....

Why Thankyou Tony......

Wendy, i am sure your car is not an STI, it's a WRX of some description, if you need to get the car checked over, best get down to Triton Motorsport at Hurn, they're the local Scooby specialist, and they know their stuff...... they do however charge for their labour, like most i guess...... just be aware!!

Thats a WRX im afraid.

Non red intake manfold, smaller intercooler, no top strut brace, steering wheel is non standard, no STi badge on the dials, WRX seats (STi seats were red and black) No STi lip spoiler or fog covers.

WRX and STi had pink badges.

360 bhp is totally impossible on a car of this spec too im afraid! Especially with the tiny intercooler.

I would delete the leaving an R1 standing comment out too - they do a 1/4 mile in around 9 seconds IIRC and you will need to have around 700 plus bhp to compete with that

Triton are extremely pricey, but seem to be quite good.

Wendy, it wouldn't be the guy that runs Eblake tyres thats gonna check your car out.... he rallies then aswell.....when he doesn't crash!

Cheers Drsuess... sounds interesting....!!

You still keep an eye on this bbs then Mark..... you seem to be in here more than i am lately!!!
