I think for some people they go through phases of falling out of love with there cars, we just need an influx of new people who have recently got into the Scooby ownership experience. Gotta blow the cobweb's off the motor at the weekend and wash the dust off that's been collecting for 3 month's, if i can remember how to start it and drive it i'll point it in the direction of salisbury on Monday eve. Can't arrange meeting up before leaving though because i have to get back from Bristol first!

I need to uncover my car, it's had dust sheets on it for 3 weeks so that the crap from messing with land rover bits doesn't make it dirty.....

I'm kind of looking forward to driving it to be honest.....

Don't joke Dean, i went on holiday and the battery was flat when i got back.....

 

It seems that Subaru have an extra security measure of draining the battery overnight.The battery on the Spec c is a midget one for weight saving,hmmm being aprox 18st those kg matter

 

Just imagine the performance gain if you were only 15st Dean......

 

I know,I know and if I was 12st I wouldn't be able to do the job I do.
I know I can let the wife drive the car and I will watch as she is alot lighter than me
Anyhow back on topic.......the meet looks as if it is going to be good,I have already told the landlord we will try and fill the car park for him.He asked if we would like to use the skittle alley for drinks and I said no as we are a sad bunch who hang around in the car park

Any rough idea how many cars mate.....?

At a guess I think(and I am hoping for)about 25-30 cars,which if it happens won't be to bad for an evening meet.

OH well, i got the car out of it's hybernation last night, and the battery was as dead as a dodo.......

Mike, i told Explore to arrange a meeting point if he wanted to, daft me doing it cos of the different direction i'd be coming....... although we could say something like Sixpenny handley roundabout if you like.....
