I am also going to have to drop out, 5 am start up in stockport means 4am start for me and as I intend to have some drinks on saturday night (and a few more if england beat paraguay!) I dont think its gonna happen.
There was already a question mark over my attendance as mentioned above so not a great surprise anyway.

It is OK with me (empty roads etc) but I have a BBQ on the Sat afternoon so need to know if I should limit my drinking. Want to be fully prepared for this.
Can you re-post the plan to make it clear.

I see you've been on that asertive course again Chris.
You lads better let him know if you are going or else.
Been to dealers over here in States they have a 2006 STI with SPI pack? dont know what that is, with Turbo Gauge and front spots fitted at $395. Car priced at $34,000 so 19,000 pounds(sorry no pounds sign on this USA lap top.
Any takers? only problem is LHD and importing. Sure I could order a RHD, and Oh my brother can get a discount, via work.

Thanks for the comments guys, and you were quick with your pictures Lee
Sorry to have missed you Adam, but it was imperative that you met us where we said, as the route was so difficult to follow on the sat-nav, nevermind on a bike You missed a great route.
stressymare, where were you? No text, no nothing! Once again, just plain rude!
We wasted time, once again, waiting for you.
Cracking turnout those who came, and some awesome roads up in Yorkshire. The wyioc gave us thier usual warm welcome, thanks guys, and on Dazza's stance when he got out of the atom, I don't think I'll rush to put my order in for one
Got some great footage of it going slow over the moorland roads, with sticky driving
Nice steady route back, with lots of traffic on the roads, and police positioned all over the place trying to catch us out
Once again, thanks for a great mornings drive out, see you all on the next one

Looks like I missed out on a good run. Would've put my name down for it but as I said earlier, Mark (my brother) was on a track day near to Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground.
The airfield track wasn't that technical but down the back straight some of the cars were touching 150.
The orange Lambo from Evo magazine was there too. I think someone mentioned he got to 192mph last time he was there! Crazy! Sounded awesome when he gave it some right foot. They have an 'Arrive and Drive' option so I could have had a drive of it but at £45 for one lap, I gave it a miss!!
I did get to drive a DB9 for a few laps though. Very very nice car (people may disagree with me but I loved it!!). Want one!!
Mark drove a 996(?) Porsche, a Lotus Elise, did some Karting, then drove a Ferrari 360 and then got in the (Bugeye) Scoob. Not clued up enough to spot whether it was a real STi but it had the right badges!
The instructor from the 360 came over to the instructor from the Scoob and mentioned that he had actually enjoyed sitting alongside Mark as he actually listened to his instructions (most don't apparently!) and to let him use the scoob to it's full potential. Believe me he did - he was really shifting!! Where he was going into the first left hander at 95mph in the Elise, he was doing 110mph in the Scoob. I think that was also due to gaining track knowledge too though.
Presentation ceremony comes around at the end of the day. Everyone's name is read out except Mark's. He get's the driver of the day award! 38.5 out of 40 points! He's had a great weekend, what with this, and finding out yesterday at Prosport that his 328 has 205bhp not 193bhp.
Overall an excellent day out (except for the sunburn) and now I want to go on one myself!
Sorry to hijack the thread and write an essay about the day but hey. :-)
I'm struggling to get Dai's link to work too but I hope nothing is too badly broken Dai?
Regards,
Paul
