Apologies for dropping out of this, was really looking forward to it but work has been manic lately - yes even BT engineers have to do something sometimes (although very rare!!).
I couldn't care less what time people are leaving in the morning, I get up at 6:20am every day for work, getting to Lakeside for 7:15am is not an issue (and "no" I don't give a monkies what time other people get up - before everyone jumps in and starts moaning).
Been trying to sort my poxy flat out for ages, had it almost 4 weeks already and I'm still not decorated let alone moved in
Had a call-out at 8pm on Wednesday and got home at 6am Thursday morning so wiped Thursday evening out as I was totally shattered, then Saturday I was ready to spend the entire day decorating and got called out again at 10am and didnt get home till 11pm!!
Got home nice and early tonight to do some painting, called out at 6pm and only just got home (12:30am).
Great for the pay packet but has totally bu66ered up the flat schedule!!
I DON'T drop out of things at the last minute on purpose!!! It's just the way things go - you can't dictate things that you can't control.

We dropped out due to personal family reasons that we dont feel should be put on here. We are gutted as kids wanted to go and this is not that early compared to some events we go to throughout the year.

Hey everyone, don't really think that you need to put why you can't come, it is a free world and if you don't want to go or can't make it then don't go.
Life is so busy and hectic you just don't get enough hours in the day to do what you want to do.

Isn't it the longstanding Scoobynet tradition to drop out at the last minute 
Sorry to let you down at the last minute Brian I know how hard you have worked to make this event happen. Unfortunately it is just the wrong time for me and I have to pull out. Other than Rockingham last year when I was ill I think this is the only event I have ever pulled out of though
The decision to change the time made it easy for me to make the decision to be fair. Particularly when it was changed less than a week before the event. Unlike everyone else I don't quite see why we have to be there the minute it opens......... it's not like the boxing day sales is it? I assume the monekys will still be there if we arrive half an hour after the doors open....
I respect the democratic process and certainly wouldn't expect the time to change back for me. Have a good time everyone bring back some nice photos....

I'm glad we are going earlier, any later by the time we get up there and have had lunch it wouldnt be till the afternoon when we would actually see the monkeys. Now, as we are going earlier and if we do finish at MW before it closes, then maybe we can go on somewhere else as it is a long way and while we are there then why not.
Been on holiday now for 2 weeks and this will get me back into getting up mode. (Monday morning 5am here we come lol)
Cant wait for this now 2 days to go. and staying up there aswell makes it a better weekend, Hopefully a nice little pub near the Travel Lodge
