Brilliant meet tonight chaps, thanks for once again showing us true Yorkshire hospitality. We got lost as usual coming over, and took the singletrack scenic route over to you But we had a fantastic drive back, with 8 of us in convoy over a dry, dark and deserted Strines Road and Snake Pass
Still buzzing now, and I'm up at 5am! Wife was sick when we landed at the bottom of the snake, so it must of been a great run! See some of you next week

 

Chris.. Great to see you and the other SMACS lads and lasses... You definately make the event with your arrival

I'd like to thank all those involved for the presentation.. Quite touching that so much thought and work had gone into bringing back all those bad memories.. I'll be back to the therapist Monday... The whole car park was genuinely taken in hook, lined an sinker. We may not have seen the van... but the looks on everyones faces was a picture... And when Dazza turned up in the Van.. we were all expecting the worse... Thank god Dazza was driving! Laugh? I nearly pi55ed meself..

Good to see Bob & Joe. Thankfully Joe's second meet and Bob's first weren't crowned with a ban... **cough**

Great meet last night, complemented with a swift drive over to Strines and back over the Snake pass.

Joh, cw42's wife did look ill!!!

The chief had major brake fade all four discs were smoking when we stopped at the bottom!!! lol

I had some football cards in the car, I should have got them out!!

That was trying to keep up with Dai - all that track experience is paying off.
i thought my wheels were going to set alight at one point.

The thing is i have uprated vented discs and pads as well

Great to see everyone last night, and top job on the presentation to Al Shame the van didn't get everyone as planned, but a sterling effort As always a pleasure to welcome the SMACS along, you guys are really so committed compared to us Thanks to Ashleigh for helping me polish my car

Looking forward to monday, possibly but don't think I can make thursday and will be away from then on.
