The rain really skewed the handling results, if you got a few runs in the dry then you were well up the timing scoreboard.
IIRC John F was 3rd in his fairly std Sti5 when I last spoke to him.
I had spent 2 days setting my car up for the handling circuit, with a new set of Whiteline ARB's, springs, drop links, adjustable rear tie rods, full bush set and full alignment........but.......by the time I had done 2 drag runs the heavens had opened
The extra camber and circuit suspension set up didn't seem to cause too much delay on the 1/4m thankfully !!

it was at least drizzling on all my runs, admittedly it did get a whole lot worse later on in the day.....as a mondeo nearly found out
slidey slidey!

I think i slipped down to 9th in the end.
I was pleased with my last run in the last 15 minutes, it came together well with a 38.9 in the pissing rain, 0.4 slower than my dry run. Neils time was seriously quick.
Well done Andy, top result again!
Very glad to see Bob was OK after a very scary moment, hopefully it's not too bad when it's looked at back at the workshop.

Good to meet you all today - John, you should have taken the cement out of the boot mate
Just a pity my car was off the road and I couldn't have set that fastest time, eh Neilo?

Had an email from Bob and he's ok - thankfully

, so may run a 2 ecus. 1 for controling the lower four and the other maybe for the upper four.(i like a good old stab in the dark
)
I think it was done on best time on each "heat", so if you couldn't put in a good time in that particular heat you lost out to the faster car.
Consistancy over fluke.
Wasn't really taking much notice of how it was organised.
All I know is Shauns car stayed in the top three until the final 3 cars ran where it in put the winning time to take it.
Well done Dirk.

i managed a high and a mid 37 in standard V3 type R when it was dry, cud of gone a bit quicker then came the rain, and my tyres were not best suited to that, still did all 5 runs, good laugh sliding all over the place
