Flipping heck , just seen this thread.
Glad to see you all made it out relatively unscathed.
Take it from me, it could have been a lot worse. I'm dealing with these sort of brainless idiots everyday at the moment.

Indeed I can see that going for help is paramount but staying with your friends to make sure they wern't caused more damage or by taking the danger/damage on yourself and away from them is by far more important in my eyes.
Just the way i've been brought up......but each to their own
Never leave a fallen man behind and all that jazz.....but circumstances do change so there is never a clear cut solution, only however in the eyes of the law but what do they know....

Like I said......EACH TO THEIR OWN......granted thats a pant-wetting situation....but gonna kill you if you go near a phone or help your mate?
People that are gonna do things like that don't exactly tell you they are going do it....it was more a scare tactic.
Now i'll get the people saying hindsight's a beautifull thing and I'd like to see you think like that at the time, however i'd rather take the kicking to stay with my friend even if they had knives because that what mates do......and needless to say i've been in many a situation like this so I can "back this up".
I'm not calling anyone a coward, i'm just saying i've been brought up and lessoned in not leaving people. Fair enough he called the rescue services and if he had stayed and taken the beating then who would have, but what if he'd stayed and on the off chance managed to stop any further harm coming to his friend on the floor? Walking away is not the only option and I couldn't live with myself if i'd walked away to get help and something had severly gone wrong.
Like I say, i'm not calling anyone a coward, i'm saying i'm glad no-one was seriously injured and it worked out for the best.
We all do things differently and my way's not the right way but it is certanly another option.

Thats your opion, but by this time Ross was on his on, Betts was locked a restaruant, and Kev was on the floor, from being knock out, sorry but who the **** would have helped Ross when they were beating the **** out of him??
Sorry don't want to sound rude, but Ross done the right thing and everyone has agreed with what he done, so if Ross had not walked away and something had happened to him, like them killing him, how would Kev and Betts feel, and what reply would you put up on the thread something like 'He should have walked away to get help'

See now your trying to have a go at me because of what you would do and what people have said. AGAIN I will say my way isn't possibly the right way but it's what I WOULD DO.
If it was posted he should have walked away then I would post that he shoudln't have, FROM MY OWN OPINION.
If my mate was laying there knocked out and still being beaten then I definately wouldn't leave him knowing one was pretty safe being locked in a restaurant.
I'll say it to you, would you leave a mate who was knocked out and still being beaten?
If you would then I i'm glad you're not a friend of mine.
I'm not playing the big I am but now you've highlighted the point he was knocked out and they were still laying into him, I can see no logic leaving him there even to get help.
