Good to hear your car's back in one piece mate,my dads got a hoist he bought to fit his engine for the kit car,it's just sitting around at moment so if you wanna borrow it give us a ring! Dale

is the wiring the same as my UK97?? one harness that unplugs from the engine?? makes life rather easy that... im sure you will remember where all the pipework goes if I managed a P1 transplant....

I took loads of pics as I took the parts off, so it shouldn't be a problem

Plus I got a pretty good workshop manual if things go **** up

Jus had a litle chat with Moley_WRX about the 2.5 conversion, and it seriously affects the insurance premiums

oh well, too late to worry about it now

if it's too bad, I'll might sell the car and get a STI

it was mate, engine is ready to be taken out, got a hand forklift from work, and as soon as it stops raining, it's coming out, then the heads are coming off.

My new block should be here in the morning

painted the P1 engine(well inlet manifold) Blue to match the car on mine...
