James,
I may be one of your first customers as were thinking of buying one of these. Obviously a big discount would have to apply though

Wot he said ^^^^

I'm after a new mattress too, I need a king size, pocket sprung, with built in tempur layer on top. So it's all one mattress rather than 2 seperate parts.

Any recommendations?

Oh no, you're not saying I have to put England Flags on my car to qualify for a discount are you?!

Then again if the discount is good...

Putting England flags on your car may result in a refusal to serve. I've just re-read my training notes and feel confident in recommending a pocket sprung with mammory hair horse mattress. Thank you for contacting Dreams

I Can't believe this thread........
Was going to put one up asking about these mattresses but thought I'd get the mickey taken.
I just ordered one today for £85 , a 2" topper in memory foam. It has a 30 day money back guarantee , so we'll see if its as good as they say. Got it from www.cpsoffers.co.uk.

I have the full Tempur mattress and it's great, slightly warmer in summer than a sprung mattress but not an issue. The cross breed mattresses and toppers are for stingy people and paupers

Edit to add, ********'s a funny game at first, where's the handy bounce gone!

Careful with these 'memory' foam mattresses, I got into trouble with one!!

Missus came home after being away overnight and went up stairs to put her stuff away, and there they were, staring her in the face, 2 perfectly formed knee and hands prints, near to the end of the bed.

Individual preferences vary. The only thing that may be of concern regarding the complete (composite) foam based mattresses is that you may find you sink too far into them. This can hamper movement whilst asleep and cause difficulty when getting out. To this end the spring/foam combination ones give the comfort element of memory foam and the support element of conventional springs. The best of both worlds if you like. We sell a lot more of the pocket spring/memory foam combination matts than the foam composite ones, for the reason outlined. Anyone buying a bed must set aside at least an hour and TRY each different mattress. Do not be bashful! It must be a considered decision, take off overcoats and lie on the mattress (as a couple if applicable) and stay there for at least several minutes to get the 'feel' of the mattress. Ignore pushy salespeople, take your time and do not be afraid to ask pertinent questions like what spring, what fillings and what sort of guarantee you get. A word of warning, some continentally produced composite mattresses do not comply with British fire legislation.

Not personally using any but sell plenty! Can be expensive vary from about 30 to 50 quid but the expensive ones come with a 5 yr warranty! Lots of different varieties ie down and foam combo or microbeads and foam combo. Anatomically shaped ones and conventional ones. Here again go to a shop and try all the different ones.
