Three slices of bread into the toaster, slice up a block of mature cheddar. When the toast is done, lay the cheese (thickly) on top and into the grill with it to melt -- mmmmmmm!

Grill bread on one side
Place bacon on ungrilled side of bread
Place Creamy Lancashire cheese on top of bacon
Stick under grill until cheese bubbling hot
Fold creation in half
Stuff in cake'ole and chew

Yeah Cheese on Toast does it for me! I like to put some of this under the cheese:



And if I'm feeling brave, I chuck a few of these on top:



And if I'm suffering with a bit of 'ring sting' after all that, I just have cheese and Lee & Perrins worcestershire sauce.

I Prefer to grill one side of the bread first then flip it and put the cheese on the soft side. Grill until cheese is just starting to go golden brown. And use something nice like Cathedral City and not supermarkets own plastic cheese.
