Had a curry tonight

Chicken Pathia, and Garlic Nan. Good job she will be out of the bed before I get in it !

 

Had cheese burger and hash browns from the take away at 01:30 this morning... weird combo... but went down well... thats it for me now until tuesday... I'll try to stay awake today... can sleep properly/ normally over the weekend then instead of waking up at daft hours in the morning... Might be alittle moody tonight though...lol

 

Just got back from Leeds off to bed now for a few hours....later

 

Another control room supervisor - Gas Fired Power Station near to Grimsby, Lincolnshire

Almost at the half-way point now on 1st night shift of 3!!

 

I've got about 2.5 hours left, 1st one of 8 in a row, and all 12hr shifts!

 

2 hours left for me. Fri-Sun 12hr nights, although I'm doing Mon too as O/T. Hit "the wall" about an hour ago which I normally do on the 1st night. The way it's going we'll be watching DVD's on sunday night as the work runs thin

 

I'm sat here with absolutely nothing to do, tonight will be the same, will start to pick up Sunday night a bit. Chilled food distribution for JS.

 

Three hours to go and it's all over having done three 12 hour nights in a row - not hitting the wall as that happened on the first night!

Good morning nightworking fellow scooby owners, only 4.5 hours to go and I have to get through the sleepy zone at around 3.30-4am

Got no food to keep me awake just loads of black coffee.

Glad to see I am not the only sad individual around!
I am here until 06:30/07:00 ish, and `tis only the quest for speed that keeps me awake...........(just in case the boss is awake)

 

Here until 7am .
Feeling a tad sleeping tonight but will soon wake up when I go in the server room.

Maybe i'll see the silver classic i see (behind me) tomorrow again.Nothing more annoying being stuck in traffic when your half asleep and all you can think of is your bed.

I'm here too but not cause I work, but cause I am bored silly and have no life lol

 

Glad im not on my own here, I finish at 6am.

I never look forward to the drive home especially when I use the wifes Ford KA, Its fu*king dangerous when your sleepy.

 

Gives me good feul consumption though thats about it.

 

Before I drive home I tend to drink a can of Redbull and a cup of coffee. The only downside is that by the time I get home after being stuck in traffic I am awake and tend to watch a bit of the Jeremy Kyle show (for a good laugh most of the time)...next thing I know I wake up and feel like poo and it's time for dinner,shower and ready for work again....brilliant.

Oh well.....im now off to the server room to freeze my bits off.

Yep me aswell normally have curry on Thursday nights

I work in factory repairing the machines. And all I see is cans and bottles of Strongbow shame we aren't allowed to drink any would wash the curry down nicely

Going off line a bit.............but how many hours/days a week do most people do?

Although my contract says 40 hours over 4 nights, my week normally entails at least 5 nights/50 hours, although I have guys who work in excess of 70 hours over 7 nights!

 

I do a 3 shift patten, earlies,lates,nights 5 days a week 8hr shifts.

So every third week I start this thread back up

Im now on the home straight

 

Not long now then folks.......

 

Just got in and made a bru... off bed shortly... roll on weekend...

 

Anyone still awake????????
