Not quite my boring civvy friend, im a mechanic in the Army, and i have a newage 05 plate. So not a hairdresser car, not a chav saloon (not a classic) and not a mazda else i wouldnt be on this site.

i have had both now mate, both are great cars. you get lots of unwanted/wanted attention in a saloon, i actually prefer the looks of a saloon. the wagon does handle better in my experience.

nope still undecided,went to a scooby meet in skeg-vegas 2daymgood turnout,but only 3 wagons,1 being mine!must admit tho scooby jay has got a sweeeeet wagon,how id want mine to look!its either cost or finding the cosmetic bits thats hindering me at the mo.as there were more saloons there,there were more ideas from there cars that id do if i had a saloon,so a nitemare really!

 

my wagon is totaly standard at the moment going to start moding it soon though!!

 

mine is on the outside but its had a few minor bits done to the engin bay and thats it,want the bodywork sorting out now,to get it painted

 

Get the saloon, because wagons are UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was under the impression that the wagons have compromised rear suspension in comparison to the saloon due to the requirement for a wider load space. Whether thats true or not surely you only get the wagon if you need the extra space plus they dont have the flared wheel arches so they look a bit tamer. As far as estates go though they dont look too bad but if i needed an estate id look elsewhere as your not going to go tearing about with heaps of **** in the boot now are you?
