Yeah all well and good but you can't take them seriously can you, you just look at them like you'd look at the Coventrys/Leicesters of this world, you know the mid table team that you'd feel sorry for if they got relegated and when they won the Worthless it was "ah bless" the Boro have won a cup after all these years. Sadly for you you have forgotten there is and East and a West in the North, the power is in the West

Big Al's ego
Dave

You mean the player who turned you down (3 times), the player who wanted to lead his hometown team sooooooooo much, he missed out on cups, trophies and even more money?

If that's having a big ego, then can we have more like him please?

Cheers

PS I heard the real he turned you down, was Red doesn't suit him...

And loads and loads of ManYu fans... If I had a £1 for everytime a Red has told me how many MORE trophies they'd have won with Al, I'd have ...

about £87...

Cheers

PS None of the Reds come from Manchester (of course!)

I think they meant how many more trophies "you'd" have won, and very nearly acurate if you include the intertoto which I believe you're up for this season, best of luck
If he'd joined us he'd have won a bucket load of trophies, but won us more than we did in that period, maybe one Premiership and Worthless

You are also correct, in part, that a lot of Utd's fans don't come from Manchester, we are a global family rather than a tight knit community that doesnt like anyone from outside of the said community, given half the chance you'd burn them at the stake

Loads of NUFC fans all over the World. Big in Japan and China! And why not pop into a Bar called The Brit in San Jose, California - got an NUFC shirt on the wall and they have live TV coverage of most games. My ex G/F still goes! No MUFC shirt though.

Cheers

I liked the Boro fans chanting during the Charlton game.

" The geordies at home, are watching the bill"
" The geordies at home, are watching the bill"

HAHA.

With only 24,000 there, plenty of Smogs were at home too... Gibson/McClaren/Lamb/The Players have all been on TV and Radio complaining about the number of fans turning up to first team matches.

No one from NUFC has EVER had to do that...

So the UEFA cup's not worth winning...? Noted Pete; noted.

And remind me Pete; how many FA Cups have Boro won? It may be 51 years since the last, but at least we've won 1, sorry 6. What have Boro won? League championships? North Riding Senior Cups? Oooops! Lots of those I guess...

Boro 1 NUFC 2 - Sunday 09 April 2006

Of course it would've been more if we'd had all our First Team available... Still, a win's a win.

New here my ****!!

You are like NUFC, living in the past - all about the past - and never to be anything in the future!!

I have never known a team to have supporters who can ONLY drag up 50 year old silverware exploits to bolster them up and make themselves feel better about having to support a **** poor team!

Ah Pete, you know better than that. I've been reminding you of our much better record in top flight for some time now. 7 top 6 finishes from 12 for example. How many times have The Smogs made top 6? Go on, you can tell me how many times they've been in the Top 6, let alone finished there...

2nd twice for us!
3rd twice for us!
4th once for us!
5th once for us!
6th once for us!

Let's face it Pete. The difference between Boro and NUFC is we do have a history, so we expect to win things and when we don't it's a disappointment. To Boro, a successful season is a little cup run and avoiding relegation. I know - I work amongst Smogs - I know what they talk about.

Happy Easter Pete!

We can rely on Pete to think of something. He'll be licking his wounds at the moment.

We're 9th, 8 points clear of The Smogs in 14th, who are 4 places above the relegation zone (still).
Is what Smog fans are thinking...

We have FAR FAR bigger fish to fry than a likkle town FC on the South Coast!!

We had the kids out I see, thats actually very clever - blood them on games that don't matter ............ pompey should really have beaten the kids by more than 1

However, good luck to Pompey!!!

I see that Newcastle will win NOTHING - AGAIN - this season!!!
