Another Update, New rims (BBS CH 18x8 35ET) and Rear spoiler re-primered and painted to get rid of shocking previous finish.

When the went on, the rubber arch liner was a little loose and it did catch it on a speed bump but when I pushed them in it just about goes by it, the front isnt just as low and hasnt touched at all. I really wouldnt go any lower/more offset/wider tyres etc though, I think its grand as it sits stance wise. Just need to wait on subaru logos for the wheel centres and new carbon side markers now...then tints...then new centre section for the exhaust.....and a decatted uppipe, then a remap...its a never ending thing really isnt it!
Cheers Wiley.

Cheers guys, was a bit of a gamble as I'd only ever seen a blob eye with similar gold wheels, I was originally after the usual reclines, tarmacs or st6's but glad I went for these now. They are a little different and shouldn't be too hard to keep clean, more incentive to wash the car more often now too.

Yea, I did think about getting something in gunmetal as silver looked too standard but these rims really suit the car and certainly help with the overall 'stance' of the car.
The missus actually likes driving my motor now, she never liked it as a standard car! shes away out for lunch and made some lame excuse that it'd be easier using my car. haha.

After the spoiler came back from the paintshop... the carbon sidemarkers replaced the old tired looking ones (faded in less than a year)
Engine bits next I fancy.

Yea someone lese mentioned the S204 rims, similar but with MOTORSPORT embossed round the nuts rather than a machined out centre. I love them and they are still growing on me! (the wheels that is, not nuts!!)

Just found this on Youtube, and having been a former owener of a UK300 PPP I was surpised to see that someone would use this car for the canvass - each to there own though...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jcf8F0qU2qQ

P.S: its in the BUGEYE thread as this is what it once was.

In all fairness Shaun, he could have bought these afterwards as there is very little left of the UK300 visable. The UK300 side stickers were attahced under the repeaters from OEM..... these are above.

No need to get your coat mate... the owner needs a coat, or staight jacket..

I love the arches, very Skyline-esque, but the front/bonnet is a complete fail :/

Personally think its a hideous Max Power-esque rendition, but everyone to their own eh...
Sean, I believe Subaru did a UK300 run on both blob and bug models, but I've never seen a Hawkeye one.
Guess they stopped there.

I believe your right, the UK300 was Bug, the WRX 300 was Blob. However this car has UK300 interior and side graphics, although it has the blob front bumper, bonnet and wings etc.

Like I said earlier, if your going to do a project like this, why would you choose a bug model, and more importantly why use a rare model that holds more value than a std bug wrx .

I've seen them all done and I think it's a bit OTT. May do some more carbon vinyl on the bottom half and just get the stereo surround and centre console flocked when I stop crashing into deer
