I would colour code those lights mate, but half and half - I've seen it done by TSL on a WR blue bugeye, where they keep the centres black, but the outer part the body colour - looks even better IMO.

Cheers. Nothing particularly special. I polished it three times in the summer and once before winter with Autoglym - other than that I use Zipwax when cleaning it, and always a sponge - never a brush.

Armor All tyre shine for the tyres - really good stuff, been using it for nearly 8 years now...

Thumbs up Prodrive HID driving lamp kit & a couple of other bits

Here are some more closeups of the driving lamps fitted to the "Prodrive style" front

and the OZ wheels

the brake discs are now substantially different running AP grooved / ventillated two piece discs, although still with the Brembo calipers.

Steve, the head unit is a Clarion double din upgrade

I did a bit of interior detailing as well

I used to do a lot of the research for Codemasters, as a bit of a thank you, they put my car into Colin McRea Rally 3 as the bonus car

Hey Frayz,

Your not really notice some of the changes to the car. Main ones up close are the new Discs, pads, badges and most of all hear the RCM Team Ice system. lol
I've also changed from Swissol cleaning products to Blackfire range now. Shame in the photos you can't see the effects but that was due to the dirty m3 and m25 on the way to the meet. D'oh!

Hows your monster coming along buddy?

Slow lol,

Just funds reallly dude holding my last few engine parts off. Im having to save for each bit at a time so its a tough process.

It is getting there though, currently about 330ish at the wheels. But thats still on my stock internaled 2ltr.

Looking forward to finishing the 2.5 and giving the car some proper minerals

Here you can read basically the entire build of the car.

That's a real nice bugeye Steve. What wheel are you running, and also, is that the OEM Subaru front lip or an aftermarket one (and if so, where did you get it?) - decided I want one now!

Frayz,

I'll add some comments to that thread soon mate. Shes coming along nicely thats the main thing. 330 is that just at the wheels rather than BHP??
It's worth while on the saving part bud. Once your have the last parts to the jigsaw it will be worth the wait not the mention the sweat and tears.

I had a couple of plans but had to shelve them as my little boy is growing by the day and he keeps busting things in the house.

Keep plugging away matey it will come good.

Hey bud. Thanks very much for the comment. I don't often get that so you have made my day.

The wheels are ROTA GRA's in Gunmetal. 18" with 225/40 YOKO Paradas spc2. I think there pretty nice wheels myself but will be adding some nice 5/6 spoke white alloys for the summer soon.

The lip spoiler is the UK300 one. I think from the top of my head its around £170+vat from Subaru but comes unpainted? I think its a nice add on myself.

I want to add the lower Prodrive mesh and paint it black but its around £250!

Your car is nice and shiney mate. The paint work looks fab. Where abouts in Berks are you? (without giving the location to a T) I love the blobeye cluster and bumper change you have done.

Yes mate its approx 330bhp at the wheels. You can take from that what you will lol, i dont like to shout about numbers too much, all a bit of a minefield really.

It does the business on the road and thats all i care about lol... still needs a whole lot more though

Cheers for the comment Steve.

I may have to look into getting hold of that UK 300 lip - it's a bit different to the standard lip spoiler (and they're £300!); I'll have a word with little knocks in Wokingham and see how much they'd charge to paint it (they did my rear bumper and I have to say they did a great job).

I live in Bracknell but work in Camberley. Whereabouts you based?

This post must be one of the longest running ones i've seen.

My car was on page 9 or 10 i think by its previous owner in 2006.
Need a new splitter and am liking the one on the black one above.
Is that the uk300 version your discussing? Sorry bit of a newbie really.

Nice looking motor you have there, tbh I quite like your current splitter, it is a little bit different from the norm, and yes it is the UK300 splitter they are discussing - like rocking horse ****, I've been looking for a while now and just about given up

like yours solly and agree the front splitter looks very good. not a lover of same colour splitters as i think it just becomes a blur of colour but yours looks mint.
