" To market, to market went my brother Jim,
when someone through a tomato at him,
now tomatoes are soft and don't hurt the skin,
but this one did,
it was still in the TIN..!"

Feel free to edit last line at will, eg. "it had a razor blade in it..!"

Sorry I'll do anything to keep this at the top until it's made a sticky..!

Exclamation PS Lewis NBO 4 Guest appearance

OK everyone

As Chairman of the NBO committee we are trying (like the last 3 years) to get the Great One to the NBO 4

we have raised over £8000 for charity since the NBO started and will continue to do so and the greatest celebrity apart from Clarkston and Co who want hugh £ guest fees would be PS Lewis himself !!!

Im sure the Great One is watching this become a MASSIVE thread and so many people want to meet him but

Im sorry we cant pelt him with dodgy fruit

stone him

torture him

GBH

lots of abuse etc

Think about it would you come if people wanted to throw rotten fruit at you ?

If we can persuade Pete to come along ;Im sorry but no harm can come to him .

We would like to raise more money for charity on the day and if Pete has specified the NSPCC thats fine with us !!!

We will organise prehaps a speech and a few jokes from him and then a whip round to see if we can raise an extra £500 towards Petes charity .

Sorry to be a Killroy but its important to the Scoobynet comunity to protect Pete from any harm so he can contiue with his classic wind ups to keep us laughing for many years to come

Pete the NBO needs You

Pete its all a bit of fun.

At your expence maybe but you either bottle it or raise your profile even more. The NBO needs you and all those extra pennies.

Come on Pete give us a yes and let the sleepless nights begin. I will take a first aid kit in case things get out of hand. Might even buy you a pint (after you have washed off all the fruit).

I'm sorry, but this won't do. He agreed to the original idea of stocks and rotten fruit. If he doesn't honour this commitment then he needn't be there. If he's there and we can't pelt him then I'm not coffing up, if he doesn't show then I will honour my pledge of £10 to the NSPCC. He either stands by his word or doesn't come at all IMHO.

At previous NBO's, we have used an arial platform for some of the publicity photo's.

Maybe we could Pete 10 metres in the air, so we could all worship his every word

Payable on the day. I don't mind collecting it if one of the official NBO organisers approves. I will post a copy of the bank receipt for paying it in on here. I will pay my pledged £10 if he either turns up and agrees to be pelted (by p!ss wet sponges we have now decided) or if he doesn't show. I refuse to honour him however if he shows and doesn't do it.

I agree, there can be no weeding out of this. Either honour, albeit a watered (****..!) down version of, his original pledge or suffer the consequence's of his diatribe for once..!

Wonder if pissy has found a replacement for 'Ping Ding' yet..?
