That's a good point, have all your mutual friends make increasingly serious complaints about this loser so the police have no option but to start really getting on his case. The police don't want this pr1ck around anymore than you.........

Check your house insurance to see if you have Legal Expenses Cover. If you do contact your insurer who will put you in touch with a solicitor who will be able to advise you on what to do next. See the Tony Martin thread for how the police take a dim view of us taking the law into our own hands (tempting as that may be).

Really feel for you as I've lived in a place where the local thugs made life a misery - luckily I was just renting. Be aware though that if you're wanting to sell your property anytime soon you have to declare neighbour disputes.

If you don't have legal cover try the CAB - there must be something you can do to prevent the guy harassing you. Plus maybe a legal shock to the system may snap him back to reality.

Good luck.

The reasoning failed with him a while ago. I had a couple of txts of apology from him for giving me and my partner so I thought it was over. Then within a couple of days the tyres were let down.

Yesterday he was charged with harrasment of his ex and part of his bail conditions are to stay away from our estate altogether. His brother went to see the ex and said that he doesn't care about the bail conditions and isn't going to stop.

He hasn't done anything to us since the tyres. The girls car window he smashed has been repaired and our car has been in the garage since he smashed the window. My Impreza is being moved to my mothers so our other car can stay in the garage until things quiet down.

The car damage I can cope with but if he starts on the house it becomes too close to my family and my daughter.

He is living with his brother very close to where I work. Theres been mention that the brothers car isn't taxed or insured and the brother is claiming whilst working. Both these points will be raised with the relevant authorities if anything else happens to us. Whether they do anything about is up to them but I now have the address and car reg number to provide.

We have nothing to do with his argument but he has involved us. I see no reason then that we involve people close to him.
