There was all sorts of crap mixed in with the other scoobs last year (accept for the Evos) - especially that stupid looking Escort that had a bump further down the field - they had there own field to park on so no idea why it parked there.

Thats the whole point john, in all the nbo's I've attended, we've had a small mix of cars on the main field. It's upto the tts who police this event to stop this happening if they want to, and I for one would support them in that. Keep the non scoobys away from the main field. Simple. It is after all the:
BIGGEST GATHERING OF SUBARUS IN THE UK.

so why spoil the airiel shot with some chaved up novas that have come along with there mates who can afford the insurance on a scooby

The only problem that we might have this year is that there will be more club stands and a wagon stand which will cut down room in the field which john has organized.we are also looking into parking the scoobs in straighter lines,last year our lines got a bit wayward as you can appreciate when you are trying to park up hundreds of scoobs asap I will probubly try this year to put line markings down the field and wear shin pads.Last year a few none scoobs got parked up at the bottom we will address that by this year filling the first line up next to the drive in right to the bottom then start the next line,I will have a word this week with John and Martin for the best way forward.

As Gussy and Martin have pointed out we are reorgansing the layout of the Field to keep the NBO <vision> fresh and exciting for you all .

I know i have had a couple of enquiries from Club stands about maybe a special sort of car on their stands
Last year there was a Noble that caused a great lot of interest and I wouldnt be surprized with the competion spirit this year if there was something really performance orintated and special to grab attention on some of the club stands .
The trade stands will be allowed any display of their choice ( as long as I like it )


The first year we had a fantastic selection of Evos and 200 BHP group cars parked in the far corner which went down well with people but last year every one can remember the stupid escort with the front bumper hanging off !!!.

It crept in later on in the afternoon when someone had vacated the parking space and our hard working professional team of marshalls were having a rest after working flat out for 5 hours to park 400 ++ scoobys and they did a fantastic job as well.


we hope by relaying the field with club stands that the non scoobys should not be able to sneak in .


A full policy on non scooby parking will come out in a couple of weeks time after the next NBO committee meeting .

We will be anouncing in a few days a new section to interest you all at the NBO 4

this will apeal to the real extreamists among us ,#

It will be interesting to see how people will take scooby ownership after the first NBO #### # #####( Coded due to secracy involved in it . )

we have even had to recruit a Professional organiser for this such is the standard that will possibly dominate the NBO for many years to come.

The final item to make the NBO complete would be PS Lewis as the special guest but nothing confirmed as yet .

 

Any other vehicle parked in the field NOT displaying the official NBO 4 sticker should be clamped and a £50 release fee should be imposed on the driver of the vehicle and donated to the chosen charity you guys are putting a lot of hard work into organising this event so we don't want the field to look like a ford scrap yard pretending to be a scoob. (not that theres owt wrong with fords)

Never had an NBO sticker last year, just gave over five of my hard earned british pounds.

 

Come to think of it i'm not so sure that i got a NBO sticker last year either, is there such a thing? if not why not? i think i got a blackpool one last year.

 

Dont think many did (if any) might be a good idear this year tho

 

My services have been offered...

 

NBO stickers have been available at the NBO tent for the last 3 years and have cost us money /loss for charity .

The final decision on NBO stickers will be made at the next NBO committee meeting but I would rather the money went to charity .


Last year only 37 were sold at the NBO /Cancer Research tent.

Last year everyone was handed a information sheet to read and display in their car windscreen to enter the Car of the show Competion

Less than 30 % displayed them and failed to follow basic instructions .



This year we are making some fantastic changes to the NBO Concept .

Paul Im afraid it is something we might not be able to agree on cos lordys ideas are getting even more far fetched so much so that I havent got a clue what he is on about at this moment in time ? one thing is assured as the day gets closer to the NBO the madder he gets the men in white coats are watching him closely.
