PB, where might I acquire one of your favoured dual action polishers at a reasonable price (eBay ) and which of your polish's would you recommend for light swirls on WR Blue Also, if I were to use a sealer on top of my favoured Simoniz Original would it have the effect of stripping off the Carnuba wax, or just offering another layer of protection

 

Best (and cheapest) place to get a PC is Autopia (and for those on here who still believe I'm on the take I repeat I am in no way affiliated to them, nor do I sell any of their products), as they charge reasonable postage and frequently have a sale on (delivery is usually within 3-5 days). The best polishes I do by some margin are from the Menzerna range - you can see the results for yourself in the write up on this months show and shine contest in this section. I'd start with Intensive Polish using a polishing pad (only drop down to a light cur pad if necessary), followed by Final Polish II by polishing pad. You could then glaze it for maximum depth and clarity (Finishing Touch Glaze by glazing pad), and then finish with your last step product. One really important thing to note is that you should never top a carnuba wax with a sealant - only the other way round. How to choose and apply wax or sealant protection

If you apply a sealant and then a wax, you will get a wetter, richer finish, but with less reflectivity and clarity. A pure sealant finish (such as Menzerna FMJ) will give a shiny ultra reflective look. Go with what you like best! Hope that helps, Rich.

Used NXT wax before, it was easy to apply and lasted a fair amount of time, but it wasn't what I wanted in appearance. I used to use Autoglym but can't stand the marks it can leave on rubbers and takes way to long to apply.

Now I use Polylack Nano twins topped with P21S to give it a warmer look.
