Plastering is done and dry 1 room is 95% done thats just had the carpit fitted so I just need a new light and curtins and some ikea draws then its done

the other room is just bare plaster so usual - light sand/wipe / paint walls / fit fitted wardrobes - fit skirting paint skirting then carpet then finally fit new door

then jobs a good un

the bonus is we can finally get our bed from out of the living room so no more smelling the parrots veg throughout the night

few things in the pipeline just awaiting responses.

My boss who is doing some setup work in avonmouth for a new contract just spoke with me and then emailed me something interesting. I told him yesterday that I dont think I will be staying within the DHL chain, and then lo and behold today after he has spoken with the head HR guy I get some insider info!

We have just been awarded a new 10yr contract, its called National Offenders Management Service (something to do with prisoners )

It starts fully in April 09 and there are 2 jobs that I have enquired about (not yet advertised) Regional stock manager, and workshop manager. My preference is the stock one as its more money (dont know exact amounts but is over 30k possible company car as well) and not much contact with prisoners

So here's hoping
