Good to meet up with everyone and to finally make a meet in the Scoob - still had the feeling that something would happen to stop me making it - like all my wheels falling off!

Highlights of the car park for me, Martin's new "hawkeye" - I think the looks are growing on me - Chris's (new guy) P1 - still make me go weak at the knees and Al's T20 - had another look over it on the way out - love how you taken the car and made it your own. With that new back wing and the front splitter it looks vicious!

LOL on the way out the car park. After saying I think my car is too loud it proceeded to set the car alarm off on another Scoob opposite when I fired it up for the journey home - D'oh!

Looking forward to the lighter nights and drives to the meet without rain and fog!

Ah, so you were the one responsible for my car not starting from the keyfob, and hence the first couple of minutes of the journey home being made in Artic conditions whilst it warmed up 'on the fly'...

And yes, IT IS LOUD

You're not wrong, I think instead of pressing 'Shortest Route' or 'Fastest Route' on the Tom Tom I pressed 'Certain doom'. Visibility down to feet rather than metres, horrible way back can't remember exact route but think went through 'Heaton' and 'Rydal'. Don't think I've been so scared driving before much of it at under 20mph

Nice to meet a few new people and see their nice motors and bring on changing the clocks and warmer times!

Ian.. Car is a credit mate. I don't think it sounds too loud at all. But then again, I enjoyed my ears bleeding when the Stradale was revved hard

Though he denies it'll happen, I'll be looking forward to seeing Martins car grow into a monster

Next things to happen are ordering the the T Shirts, arranging the Fish & Chip night..

Good to see you all thursday,weather was a shocker for most but again a good turn out in these conditions.Alan had a play with the C.DIFF button on the way home in the first green position.....Wow what a difference i was FQ up to Lepton and over to Mirfield doing national speed limits in bad conditions it totaly changed as the front goes heavy no twitching at the back end......Apple this helps in wet conditions putting power on in 2nd gear no more torque steer and lots more control in my case THANKS ALAN FOR THAT ONE.

No probs mate.. I agree that it certainly firms up the front end and levels the car out. I use it everytime it rains or is a little icy... definitely adds more confidence when the going is slippy... have a play with the various settings to get it right for you Just have to change the tyres now..

Just remember to TURN IT OFF when low speed turning (dry or wet)

I'd suggest it's worth doing in a nice quiet place, just to experience what it what it does and sounds like if you leave it on.. like I do every now and again..

(Yes, I know early STi's had an adjustable diff. before anyone points to the fact, but it's Sunday and I'm at work (Hi Dave) doing a chippy sign (Hi Martin), so I'm allowed a little waffle)

A little Waffle of my own as I'd like to point out that this isn't a simple button. Big buttons with 'GRAVEL' or 'ICE' written on them are for simple use. One or two syllables to get across to the operator what surface they are driving on as they are obviously unaware. They are also there as the manufacturer dosn't expect the driver to be able to comrehend, understand or use the technology that's going on underneath his ****.

The actuator we're discussing is an infinitely adjustable potentiometer giving the driver full control of his environment. I am able to appreciate the millions of settings available to me and make valued judgements as to how they affect the dynamics of my car.
