Hi Miksmi,
Fortunatly I have a GBP savings account here in hongkong, so i could just do a TT from there. I don't even need to visit the bank (online banking can be a dangerous thing ) but would need simon's bank account details (bank name, bank address, 6 digit sortcode, account name, account number).
I an also pick up any bank charges at my end or pass them onto simon behind his back :P

If you have a Visa card you can just email Simon the details or safer get his phone number and phone the details. Or if he provides bank details then you can just do a wire transfer from your bank

About the sendmoneyorder.com , i've used a similar company called Bidpay.com - same sort of deal i think just not for an auction bid of a video i wanted (stopped being made back in 1990) and could only buy from someone who had it in America.
They simply will take money from your credit card, and tranfer it into a money order for something like a 5 dollar fee (around 3 pounds). It saves the hassle of writing cheques or going to the posting office to get stamps then sending it via a postbox. When you simply fill out a 5 min form with entering your details and it's all done next day without you having to do anything.

Thanks, Hos. I'll check into them. Boy international funds transfer is complicated. I'm surprised more companies don't offer this service; the US banks I've queried aren't much help, either.

Hi All
Mark
re: Posting to Hong Kong. It would really help if we could mail to a UK address. Would you email me to let me know if this is OK?
US payments..
I'm trying to find a good solution for this. I think the favourite would be some kind of transfer. You need to check with your bank to see which method would be best.
I'll confirm this.
Thanks for all the interest and support!! I'll get approx delivery dates today if I can. I am expecting it to be about 2 weeks though, but will confirm.
Cheers
