That guy at the hotel worries me though, seemed to know too much without checking the reservation book/screen, which makes it sound like he is just blagging.

From: back from, and now plotting to return to, Nordschleife
I just fitted black diamond disc's and ebc redstuff pads last week 
As well as oil coolers, sump guard, defi's, 4 wheel alignment and an anti lift kit.
Fresh plugs going in fri before the trip down to London
Oh yeah also fitted a new RHF wing, and wheel arch extensions all round
