I'll have a focused potter and see what I can do before resorting to the dealers...

a little worrying your airbag didn't deploy after your off Simon...it looked large enough to trigger it\them.

I'm running a Apexi ECU...I'm assuming that means there is no re-set and it is a voltage issue?

2. What do you tell your insurance company ??

1) Yes it is truth. It could do more harm as the chassis metal/structure is different from classic to newage. Newage also has additional front crash zone sensors in the longitudinals to allow earliest possible firing of the larger (read litre size of the airbag cushion) in a safe manner. Classics have NO crash zone senor, which is why its has a smaller cushion litre size. By fitting an airbag not designed for that car you could be putting yourself further at risk instead of removing it completely.

2) You must, or you will become personally liable for this if someone else drives the car.

PS the newer wheel does look better, just don't crash

Is this the best way to fit.

I have a sti8 steering wheel to fit my classic I have the sti8 clock spring so is it a case of a straight swap?

Or just cut the wires and rejoin

Thanks
