I aqm taking them back tomorrow (weather depending!!) to see what she can do with them, Her first thoughts where if she removes the embroidery it my damage the shirt! so not looking good. I will let you know tomorrow what is going to happen.
I would try to unstich one myself but decided it was a bad idea.
mrscw42 (chris's wife) suggested embroidering a large S in the correct place. Maybe this is a solution? It would emphise the Smacs part. May be Dai could mock it up if he is back?
Any ideas apreciated
Cheers Andy

so who is a fault Andy if it's them then you as a purchaser must hold the right to reject them and have new ones made up

Rough your not wrong there mate as about as rough as a bears ****, to be honest with you it won't look right at all as the letters looked quite close together from the initial picture that Andy had posted of Beefy's shirt

I didn't say you was at fault did I mate, just thought if you had phoned up and done it over the phone you know what people hear and don't hear
So they should re-do the ones that are wrong then mate no worries and like Chris said get some free stuff out of them as well

Im happy to go with the flow on this, large S in the middle could look ok if its done right. Not sure anyone would notice they said MACS instead of SMACS though tbh.

Although the wifes suggestion would be a quick fix, obviously the right thing for the company to do is provide us with the proper article, an apology and maybe some free stuff (I'll have a fleece like yours andy )
Typing more letters over what is already on the shirt would not really be on, and is not an option. We get the proper article, or we'll all pay them a visit, supporting andy in the meantime.
chris.

Fair enough, all Im trying to say is that if Andy cant get anywhere then not to worry too much (from my POV anyway). The supplier has made a simple mistake, and I hope they are professional enough to do the right thing, but if they wont then we've got to look at alternatives.

Right Guys and Gals,
All the tee shirts have been returned. If she cannot unstitch the existing ones she will make some brand new ones. They should be ready by next weekend either way.
I will keep you posted
Hopefully i will be able to redistribute them at the Snake pass meet
Cheers Andy.
