SMACS Curborough Day
Right We will stand the Vat and divide it up if all 6 turn up it will be £58 each
if ms2005 turns up it will be £50 each
If none of you turn up I am responsible for the £420!!!
still cant believe that on the day before I get everybody dropping out !! I had to turn people away at the begining! I have tried to throw it open to the WYIOC and the CADS but obviously it was too short a notice!!
I nearly got you all to pay via our credit card facilities last week and then I would not be in this situation.
Please Please the rest of you turn up!

Andy, very very late notice I know, but have you tried asking any of the stoke lot? Or the midlands scoobys? Much closer than cads and wyioc, and maybe able to come down for a half day?
Have fun everyone, looks like it's going to be dry and cold today

Lots of fun!
Andy's race car "thingy" was interesting
and Heather's Elise has more or less confirmed my intention to have one.
DCCD on "one click back after lock" seemed about best as it did for Wales recently.
Auto settings was a 'larf...
Cheers Andy. Thanks again for sorting!

I am very disappointed with some members letting Andy down as short notice.
Regardless of circumstance or anything else I think that just because Andy is a laid-back club member, he (or the other attendees) should not be left out of pocket.
I ask you all to recify this situation IMMEDIATELY.
Full credit to those who have already made offers of payment.

An excellent day today, Heather and I both enjoyed it, as did everyone else. It was a bit damp to start with leading to some exciting moments for us all, but soon dried out in the afternoon and everyone got considerably quicker round the circuit.
BIG thanks to Andy for yet again putting his money on the line to get it sorted out again, and thanks to DJ Racecars for stumping up some of the shortfall for the no-shows and helping it make it more affordable for the rest of us. Andy I reckon you need to get money up front in future so that even if there are no shows you arent out of pocket.
Darrens son Declan has all the film footage as master camera-man, and a good job he did too. Hopefully he and darren can get some form of a montage together for us to see. I have one or two photos of cars but they are mainly in the parking area.
Nice to meet you for the first time Martin btw, some nice fast driving there (and plenty of tyre squeal to entertain us!!)
See you at the BTCC if not before.
By the way Darren, Heather said she only used £10 of fuel all day, including getting to and from the track!!

I think in the chiefs circumstances a refund would most definately be in order had we paid up front. Good man for offering to help out though. Hope you get your car back on the road soon.
