I'm well up for a Wagon stand at any event this year - were any of you at the power engineering rolling road day on Saturday?

I was meant to be, but couldnt make it as I ended up finding the bottom of the stairs, when I had one too many on friday night

bloody hell, maybe the one i saw wasn't legit...

 

Hi all - my first post!

I just got a 53 wagon in Leeds. It's a silver GX - I thought it'd be fast enough for me and cheaper to run. It's my first scooby after many years of classic saab's. I just love its roadholding and thrummy engine. I'm not planning any performance mods but just bought some wrx wheels. Ideally I'd like one of the slighty bigger wrx wagon roof spoiler as well if I could figure out where to get one.

Any tips of ndependent servicing in or around Leeds????

Hello to all the fellow wagon owners out there


Officially the NBO 4 thread will be going out on march -12th at 7 pm on the scooby northern section for the list

The tradion is Im number one on the list and Ninnybobs is No 2 the first 20 places are on a first come as its a scamble when the list goes live to be on the top 20 !!!

such is the enthuasim for the NBO


when I prepare the list I will put the 20 of the wagons at places 20-40 aprox so if you want to be on the wagon list post your name on here !!!so I can group them together

Four years ago at the Tyne tees meet I had another crazy idea of a small garthering of scoobys We thought we could possibly muster up 30 from Cumbria and 40 from Tyne Tees

On the day we got 470 cars all parked in a field !!

It will be held as last year at Lightwater Valley theam park near Rippon North Yorkshire start at 11am untill 4 pm ish

The date is sunday 18 th June 2006

entry £5 donation to cancer reseach

Last year we raised over £3000 for charitys


trade stands ,Car of the Day ,Raffles.and plenty to do in the theam park for the kids /better halves

We are developing the club stand so I thought in Conjunction with Smiles


Hey lets park the wagons together ###

Last year we had only 26 out of 400 ++ scoobys so It would be nice to park them together ##


Due to the logistics in parking 400 scoobys in the field in under 1 hour I will need the wagons in a bit earlier 10 ish as they will be in the Club stand section ##

All wagons will be parked in the same direction and being a perfectionist that I am for detail I would even like the same colours together !!##


As I am now starting to co-ordinate the full show which will keep me busy for the next 18 weeks I would like to apppoint the

to form the Wagon committee and to manage the listson here and the actual display on the day

As with our cumbrian scoobs display I like well modded cars to have their specs on A4 paper typed up and displayed on their windscreens ??


Could anyone get some rope or banners to section us off from the salloons that cant get a bike in the boot

Im desperate to get a supplier who can sell Sti rear spoilers on the day

I'll second Smiles as king of wagons, his post count alone after ditching the mutt nuts name is pretty ipressive

mod sheets on the passenger side instead of the screen?...better for pics

there are quite a few ESC members so a convoy should be fairly easy to plan.

Like the spec sheet idea, could get these all printed the same ... people could use these for other events as well. Need to get on a rolling road, get a power graph

LordHarding might want me up there early to help sort things out (may go up night before ... Relations live in Thirsk or get a travellodge) so may not make it up with the ESC cruise ... anyone else up for a night out b4 the event somewhere local to it maybe.
Just thought i may have moved by then ... more of that in another post

Can anyone help me with whats the difference between a Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon and a Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon Version SA please?

 

Personally I have not heard of an SA ... Anyone

The 'SL' however has Sunroof and Leather as only extras on top of standard WRX ...AFAIK

Seems like this may be a mod too far, especially now I got some quotes ... How Much !!!!!

As it turns out the silver one is from an 02/03, so mine would need to be the black centre to keep it looking like it was meant to be there from new. Cheaper option may just be to get the STI center badge and stick over Momo one
