Hi all, just bought a mint N reg wrx waggon. Heard someone say they dont have the td05 turbo as the saloon wrx's do? Is this true?

Hi all,

Had my WRX wagon now for 3 months and loving it.

Since buying her I have:

Changed alloys for golds,
custom built accoustic shelf (quick trip to wickes and a screw driver!) fitted with Infinity Reference 6x9s.
Installed Ripspeed DVD HU.
Silver metalic colour coded interior trim to make it a little less common
Fitted boost gauge
Custom build MDF center dash to house gauge and HU (Work in progress)
De-badged and replaced with silver wrx letters
Fitted Chrome-Racing exhaust system with de-cat center pipe
Given her a good clean!!

Got a new rear bumper on the way as previous owner had a little mishap with a land rover!

Future plans are (when I have funds of course!) :

Full respray in Sonic blue
Larger Gold alloys
Lowered
Engine mods to come when I get used to the stock performance!!

Love this car!!!

 

A questioon for V5\6 owners who have brough this;

Subaru Impreza GC8 EJ20 2.0 STi, WRX, GT Vers 3~6 97-00 8 Coolant TCS87/C

did you have these two hoses left over?


I'm pretty sure they only fit v3\4 so I'd like Samco\Bailey's to explain why they are chanrging v5\6 owners for two hoses they can't use...all comments welcome

Quick question... Swapping my backbox on the wagon, do I need to order a gasket in advance, does it not require on and where to get one if needed.

Ian.. is the Wagon back on active duty yet with the squadron, I have been away on R&R so not caught up on the mess chatter and banter.

I have a few bits for sale as change of plans meaning selling up some bits, but will post up in the for sale and under secure communications to the squadron.

A quick heads up though, all for the classic wagon:

Dog guard, rear strut brace, carbon engine bay detailing (4 pieces), cibie spots, h&s up pipe, APS cold induction kit (chnage of plans Ian, so has to go b4 got round to fitting it ), Rays Eng 16" Ver 6 RA wheels & tyres, sti std down pipe, smoked indicators, genuine v6 front splitter, plus some other bits I may have.

Not just cos of the Leggy - but had the headers ported today, and fitted a zerosports intake pipe - so got quicker spool up, and extra whistles and bling - and then there's the windows! Thanks Ian (Granby)!

After coming off worse in an incident with a Harley that came round a blind bend on my side of the road, the Forester 2.5XT PPP was officially written off yesterday

However, a GB270 wagon is sitting at the dealers waiting for me to pick it up
