Three Rivers is the most ecconomical, but that is a 'home' event for you, Herts is a 'home' event for Fitz, so maybe a neutral course is preferable?
Maybe Hanover as no one has played there
Fitz, you can take the trophy out of Essex, but not the ESC off of the trophy!

Well pleased with the result today on the tee @ 7.06am
...Shot an 85 Today ( Par 70 ) +15 With 40 Stableford points of 20 h/c
But still bleedin lost
Fitz cannot be beaten @ the mo
Shot an 80 Today +10 !! With 42 Points of hc = 15 
Cannot believe my score & Still have to give him money

Recce @ Stock Brook, sounds good 4/11 before posers or 18/11 before the casino, possibly could do mid week w/c 6/3

Spoke to another society organiser last week, and we will adopt their rules for handicap cuts for the ESC society, win with over 36 points will get cut 1 for the next event, +38 -2, +40 -4. As he said 38 and over is real sombrero territory

YVM any news on prospective dates and venues yet mate?
I would like to offer the Herts as a venue
No real home advantage, depending on the day I can have a blinder or can play like a blind man. Course is in very good nick for the time of the year, and I have a cracking hole in mind for nearest to the pin
