Cool

Sorry guys,
just noticed the posts on the RB5 forum.I didn't mean to get offended.

I love this car...it still turns heads wherever it goes and all things being perfect I would keep it, but needs must.
It just won't do what I need. I no longer have a company car as well so I need something that will go to work, tow and go off road.

The boost gauge in the corner matches the speedo/rev figures perfectly and is illuminated green.

Thumbs up

Sorry, didn't mean to get upset at some of the posts on the RB5 forum but I do love this car,I will be desparately sorry to see it go, it still turns heads when ever its out and all thing being perfect I would keep it. I was out early in it this morning, the engine and gearbox feel like new! I no longer have a company car so I need something that will go to work, tow and go off road.

The boost gauge actually matches the detail on the speedo/rev counter/colour of the dash and is illuminated to suit.

Incidently, my wife doesn't particularly like it but she thinks I'm mad to sell it!

Its' amazing how many people have rubbished this car since I bought it, now these people want to buy it but their not getting it... thats why its for sale on here first.

It's a beauty of a car you have there my friend, but I can't imagine anyone paying you the asking price for it though.
For that kind of money you could get a 3yr old STi. Good luck though, and please come back and prove me wrong
Cheers

If your brother has one with similar miles and condition, then that does'nt make your so rare now, does it, so i cant be worth as much.

Only kidding mate, best of luck with sale

Hi there,

r.e. the comments on the RB5 forum .... in no way were they meant to offend and I apologise if they did!

Just noticed what area of the country you are obviously in!

When I considered buying an RB5 new, I sat in one in S&S and considered one in Eaglesham Subaru which was about to come in .... at the time it was just too much money, but interestingly, the one I sat in and came close to buying in S&S may have been your car .... cause I believe they only had a couple to sell!!

All the best with the sale and please pass on the details of the RB5 Owners club and the club registry to the lucky new owner!

Norm.

S&S actually had two cars but they put one as a demonstrator, we were wanting two new ones. Missed the ones in Perth, in fact I think they were bought over the phone from England! Eaglesham only got one and it was sold so my brother took the new one from S&S and I took the new one at Clarkston Motors.
Clarkston Motors stayed open for about 8 months after that then closed.
