Was a good day, thanks for letting is come down. Worked out my true bhp from looking at figures for non speed limited RX7s with the same torque figure as me. With 224lb/ft of torque it should have made 260bhp higher up the rev range. Am definitely going to get the de-limiter on there as soon as poss and go back to PE for another run. Will let you know when I'm going.

Thanks for sorting this out Paul.

That has got to be one of the best organised rolling roads I have been to.

It was also nice to meet and talk to some of the 'Elder statesmen' from SN's hall of fame

Here's to the next one........

Shsssssssss!
That's a secret!

I am quite happy with the figures, but they noticed some hesitation from 6000rpm on (drop in the graph). So it could've been more. Or, It don't like the water injection mod.

Thanks Paul for taking the time and effort to arrange this, yep still going not been to bed yet.

Only made 1.3 on the rollers but the journey to boxhill I was seeing 1.5 it was nice to put faces to names and I guess when we have sorted the cars out there will be another RR in 6 months.

to Chris and the team at PE for being a great host

Just a selection. If you want the hi-res versions of your car send me a PM with your email. Sorry if your cars run was missed - turned up a bit late.

Quite pleased Andy as it was an improvement to last time, 325/277.
Not sure whether this would be down to the Gruppe-S headers or the visit to Bob.

Torque figure was still low so I've decided to send the turbo to Andy F to give it a check over just to be sure.

Thanks for organising this Paul, it was good to see you and Andy T again.

Maybe a return session later in the year ?

Cheers, Jon

Yep. A good day. At last, an STi PPP that broke the 300 barrier (307) Torque was down a bit. I put it down to being the first 4WD so I was warming up the rollers for the rest of you! It's booked in at TSL in March for a re-map, so I'm looking forward to that.

After talking to a few of the Golf guys, it seems that they also think my car is chipped, but it sounds like the MAF sensor needs to be cleaned/replaced, to get around 190bhp!

You can change manufacturers, but you can never get away from a dodgy MAF

Tell me about it!! A trip to GSF is needed next weekend to pick up a replacement! A small price to pay to increase both BHP and torque!

Video of my little beauty - may not have been the most powerful of the day, but did me proud. Standard apart from a decat downpipe.
