Stock news:
No stock whatsoever of this by Hella in this country So the hella lady is going to see why, and get some in from Germany
Keep you updated as it happens, in the meantime, continue with the list, unless someone can supply now!

UPDATE:
Spoke to my contact today, what he reckons is the equivalent of the USA horn is coming in on the 30th March in a batch of 38. 35 are already accounted for, so I've bagged one for myself. If it's the right one, I'll let you all know, and start the list proper for a bulk order. That order could take upto 6 weeks to come through again so unless someone else knows a better way of getting them, or someone has stock of them now, it's the only way we're going to get them.
Next update when I get mine in April.

Gary, thanks for the pm and heads up on this supplier. I've just had a chat and he's prepared to do us a good price on brand new units. If your quick though, you can get one at the price on ebay, but the price of that "buy it now" plus postage is the same as ours
I'm hopefully going to go over tomorrow to have a look and check they're the right units. If so, I'll be wanting a definate list of buyers off here

Got them! I called into the supplier starship impreza put me onto today, and picked up the 2nd to last one of the units he's got on ebay. They're a lot bigger than I thought, but looking behind the grill on my03sti, there's a place that they should mount quite easily
So, who still wants one? If you do, please contact David at marketing@specialist-leisure.co.uk and also post your name on here. He's got one left which is on ebay for a buy it now price of £59 + £6 p&p, or you can order off him once you've mailed him, for £64 all in
Big thanks to everyone for scouring the net for these horns, and to starship impreza for being so eagle eyed on ebay
Now all that's required is to fit them, anyone good with a soldering iron
chris.

Thought i would get out and start wiring the horns up so heres a bit of info on the wiring,i decided to remove the OE horns because they are useless and would only get in the way
Subaru horns are positively switched ,so if you mount the relay close to the existing horn wires you can connect these straight to the relay, these go too
terminals No 85 & 86 it does not matter which wire goes to which terminal as these are the positive & negative to energise the relay
connect terminal No 30 direct to the battery and terminal No 87 is the switched live to the new horns ,simple
I will update this as and when the weather allows me to get out there and finish the installation

darms, nice one, well done I got a slightly better price as I turned up in person
Gary, that meant nothing to me as I've got a my03 sti things look a little different to yours. I've just had a look now, and there are already 2 lots of wires to the horns in the front grill, hang on, I'm going to take a picture

right, first off, what is the heating element shaped thing in ringed in red here for? the other 2 red circles are to show 2 mounting points, one of which is taken up by one of the current horns, the other on the left is free.
this is the 1st of the 2 horns, as you can see, there is a spade wire going to it. does that have a live and neutral in it, as it's only the 1 spade, not 2!
a side top view of the 2 horns already in place, with the single wires going to them, if I splice into these wires, will I be able to just re-wire the hellas in?
an artists impression of how it will all look when it's finished still need to relocate that yellow ringed element though, any ideas?

I would say that is the power steering oil cooler

The one wire is the live switched ,the horn must earth through the body

Might be a bit of a job trying to relocate the cooler,
Chris i assume you are removing the oe horns ?

Chris, all you need to do is connect one of the original horn wires to terminal No 85 and then run an earth to terminal No 86 on the relay ,then from terminal No 30 connect to your battery, and from Terminal No 87 to one of the spades on the hellas the other spade on the hellas needs to be connected to a good earth ,is that clear enough if not give me a call

I think thats clear gary, thanks for that. What sort of wire should I be getting? You say "then from terminal No 30 connect to your battery" I presume you mean the live on the battery? What would you consider a good earth.
Don't know what I'm going to do with the oil cooler though

Friday night, we were picking up our dinner. I was in the car, waiting for Rich to come out when a young lady, on the phone, began backing her 300M up (from an illegal park job in handicap spot). She got a little too close to the front of the STi, so I tapped my horns. She stops the car, gets out, and begins SCREAMING at me. (Still on the phone.)
"Bitph, I SEE you!! I ain't gonna hit your car!! I gots 2 feet left!!" Then, she starts to walk towards my car. (Not wise of her, you see.)
I scream back, because I'm now angry, "Get off the phone and just go!"
That angered her, and she began screaming with even more profanity, neck rolling and finger waving. So, I did what anyone who had Hella Supertones installed would've done -- I laid on the horns. She was about 2 feet from my grill, so I'm pretty confident she sustained some hearing damage.

Yes terminal 30 of relay to battery positive ,a good clean earth on the body work ,you could connect the earth to where one of the OE horns were fixed as that would be a good earth point
