The Supra guys are in the purple area (nice...), can anybody with a map from last year or even a map from this year tell me where that is in relation to where the Scoobs were last year..?

Have they said if in-car cameras are allowed on the track sessions this time out, and how about passengers..?

thanks

Doc Joc
Is this correct, no camcorders what so ever, even if mounted in the back?
I haven't got round to reading the info sent through, but where is it stated.
Cheers

States no camcorders or loose objects, i guess that means no camcorders back, front, side.

I have just bought one of those suction mounting devices, and used one at the ring, it does not move and is perfectly safe IMHO, but hey i don't make the rules.

I don't think we are even allowed to take passengers from what I read. When I asked Stef a couple of months ago he thought we were allowed only one!

I have just read through the info in detail and it clearly states no passengers and no video cameras either hand held (and whos gonna hold it when theres no passengers..) or fixed mounted cameras. So thats no cameras or passengers then.

Seems they have also tiddled with the track entry and they wont be telling us how to get to the track until the briefing.

They also wont allow any cars with exhausts over 98db taken at 1 metre away. 'Screeching tyres should be taken as a sign of excessive speed' but it doesnt say what will happen after that.

The Supra guys got stuffed with the track time (cos some groups took a rather large number of sessions...you cheeky monkeys) and so we are in with the 300zx guys at 5pm...so dont all rush home as you might want to see the 300zx vs Supra battle...

it also states the car has to be fully road legal, so no slicks.

Im sure most of the Supra guys will be pushing that rule as we tend to remove the off-side headlamp just to improve the airflow through the cone airfilters.

Question

Is there a cut-off time that we need to arrive at the circuit to gain entry to the Club stand ? I think it was 08:30 last year.

As they start letting the 'unwashed peasants' in at 9am I think thats generally regarded as the cut off time, or at least they say that admission to club stands may be refused after 9am.

Not sure if Stef has mentioned it but the queues are pretty large getting in to the place, allow loads of time to get in.

Do you reckon they'll get upset if I brought a bar-b with me. Only a little one mind. Would I be allowed to use it in the club stand area?

Question

Hi guys.
If anyone is unable to make their track session they should contact me in the first instance so that the sessions can be allocated to the correct people, ie, newbie track session for newbie, etc.
If anyone turns up on the day with tickets who is not an SIDC member or has tickets for an inappropriate session, they will NOT be allowed entry into the arena. I will be monitoring all cars entering so beware!
Those of you that have sold tickets on, please call me on 07932 317933 and let me know who has taken them off you.

John D.
I have no record of tickets going to you. Call me asap.

See you all there.

Stef.

I dont remember seeing anything about bar-bees, seems like a plan considering the price of the food at Silverstone. Im going to check the info just to make sure.

Who said I'd be there at 7:15?

I'm leaving here at 06:00 via the A507 thru Baldock and Milton Keynes. I can't face setting off any earlier than that. Should be pretty quiet at that time (crosses fingers).

I was thinking, these peely stickers are they 'innies' or 'outies'?

Got there at 10 last year and had no trouble getting on to the stand...

I haven't been told you need to be there by a certain time, but it would help if everyone got there relatively early.

Just got back from hols and opened Trax pack. No passengers?! No squealing tyres?! What's goin' on? I'm not going.

Therefore two entry tickets and two tack sessions up for grabs, 11.00 and 15.40 hrs.

Yours for £50 the lot. I guess you'll have to collect tickets/passes from me asap. I'm in Peterborough. Call me on 07831-128555 if interested.

Richard.

As I can't find a reason not to bring the Bar-B, all 'round at my car for lunch. I'm bringing fresh burgers and sausages, so I can freeze what I dont/cant use. Buns and sauce coming too. Not looking for anything, just come and say hi and grab a burger/sausage Name should be on the car (if Phil's done the biz) but on the other hand, just follow the smell

P.S. Can I borrow someone fire extinguisher, just to keep the organisers happy?
