Just call them and be done with it.

I just can't understand why people dither half their lives away, narrowly avoiding being ran over by busses, walking into lamposts, forcing people to move out their way as their attention is distracted by a game of text tennis.

and average short text conversation is four to five texts = 40p (not including free ones). The same conversation over a phone call would last a minute at best = 2p

Moving onto a side issue::

Biggest problem with mobiles is women texting every 15 feckin minutes to check up on you. Arrrgggh! And if you don't reply beacuse your busy, they call instead, again, and again, and again...and leave a voice message everytime, costing a small fortune just to clear them all...wtf is the point of a voice mail saying "call me back"....I already have the missed call logged, so why bother with a message containing no useful information??

Don't women understand that sometimes you cannot answer a phone or reply to a text?

I mean, I'm the middles of meeting, have the boss looming over me. Or dealing with a critical customer. And I have the phone bleeping every minute over nothing of any importance. And turning it off mean I get a earbending when I do finally reply!

And it's not just me, everyone else at work has the same problems, my mates have teh same problems. I tell you something, Mobile phones cause a huge detriment to productivity to the average working male!!

So WOMEN!! PUT THAT BLOODY PHONE DOWN!!

And let us get some work done, so we can be back home earlier and earn more money to buy your fancy extortionately priced perfume and handbags!

If you are in a noisy environment (i.e. club) then phoning is a waste of time - however texting works (if you arent to pissed to press the keys).

I got hundreds of happy new year texts last night (well dozens) - ones you know are chain texts just being forwarded on to everyone in a phonebook (folk you know dont drink with texts on about "before I get drunk" etc...
