Richard,
just seen this one as I have been away on holiday.
Glad to see you maintained position in Corsica, my father in law was out there - who by coincidence knows your dad (they used to work together at the AA).
So if you are speaking to your dad - Norman T passes on his regards.
May the force be with you in San Remo
Cheers,
Rannoch

Yeah, nice of you to take the time to contribute Richard.
Just watched the Corsica coverage on Eurosport. Some bloody big drops there, interesting to note that everybody's level of attention jumps dramatically whenever the Subaru's are on the plot.
Keep pushing the car hard Richard, hopefully the technical advances may filter through to all us Impreza owners eventually.
Mike.

I'm not a scoob owner, but I wish you good luck all the same. Can't be bad being paid to drive like a maniac
Hope to see you for 0.00001 of a second at the Kent stages. Probably as a blur.
Kim - not sure even he would be able to cope with a Clang-n-ball run!

Richard,
Can I play in your company motor some time, 'cos sadly, my Scoob is off the road at the mo?
Oh, and don't embarass Colin too much on your way to the drivers / manufacturers championship. He was one of us once!

My question for Richard:
At the Corsica Rally, do you back off knowing that there's those huge precipices to fall off of, or is it 'ten-tenths' all the time?
I only watched it on the TV and it scared the ******* out of me

I don’t mind admitting it has been really really tough but I have remained positive and as happy as I can throughout. The support I have had from my doctors, family and friends has been fantastic.
Also I want to thank all the people who have sent me their good wishes – it really helps to know that my fans are still rooting for me and that I’m not forgotten!
I have been following the WRC on the television and I want to add my congratulations to Seb for winning the Championship this year. He is a very focussed driver and deserves this win.
Also I would like to wish Carlos a happy retirement, - he has been a dedicated and passionate rally driver throughout his years and the sport will miss him.
My treatment has been very intensive but I am now getting physically and mentally much stronger.
It is still too soon to think about what the future holds – I am just concentrating on trying to get back to a normal life.
The doctors still need to keep a close eye on me but, when they give me the OK to travel, I am looking forward to coming to see a rally sometime soon…maybe I will see you there!
Have a great Christmas, I will! and Best Wishes for 2005
Take Care
