It's hard enough getting 'so-called' car enthusiasts to come, never mind journalists

 

You know this happens every year and you know it works out in the end....

 

Seems to get worse each time though. Not many new people show interest, some of the old faithfuls drop away. Nothing from MLR, LEN, CGTi, 200SX, SCN, I gave up asking on SIDC long ago and even Pistonheads booted me off for inviting their people I'm adamant I'll do BlyTEN, but who knows whether it will go beyond that ?

 

I think you'll find eleven would come after that.

Dave,,,i can see your point mate a club with as many members as we have and a poor turn out like this...think it's time we looked at the member's list and start to take some names off.I know to load's that never come to meet's any more,no support to the club then i think no membership.. keep it up Dave...

no mate iam talking about them that we have'nt seen for 6 month and so on,
don't think they can be that botherd.We will see anyway come subs night,that's when we will see who cares about being in the wyioc...

 

It's not always that simple fellas.
I have a "mate" who works nights, so will never get to an EOM or any or weekday event, this leaves the family to sort out at weekends, football, swimming ,etc. He has to sort his kids first, but feels awkward "diving-in" to the few events he can make.
Not an excuse but hope you can see my point.

can see your point dunx,but we need surpport mate if we all said that we would have no club iam sure your mate is busy,,we all are mate.with what u have said don't sound like he as time to support the club been that busy..
