Tony,
Hope your memory holds up by the time we meet again

You missed a good turn-out on the 3.40pm run @ Trax, although it could have been a bit too crowded for you

Tony, if you go through Leominster, you could meet up with Jason (came to the first Ross meet - Green 4dr MY99?) Did you get his number? I've tried to email/text him to no avail...... you're more than welcome to call him....
Besides, the Leominster route is MUCH more challenging (flamesuit ON!!!
)
Got the Scoob back yesterday - nearly happy with it -
1. They've already scuffed the rear door (that was damaged!!)
2. The driver's leccy window makes a worrying 'CLUNK!' when it winds back up into the rest position
3. The trunking that holds the front window in - on the drivers side, hasn't sat back in place!
Have to call 'em in the morning and set it up for a few weeks time - need the bootspace for moving!!!
Get my new brakes and bucket seats today!!!
WooHoo!!!!

Now, remind me, what date's the meet ???

You didn't need to give any ideas to Tony on a challenging route, especially if his missus is coming, she doesn't need to know this much info in advance
:
BTW, I thought the meet was the er um is it the 23rd?
Matthew
PS any other "challenging" routes from Kinver?

DAN,
Have you managed to speak to the lad from Leominster
If you have pass on my moble number and I'll meet up with him. If I don't hear anthing I'll meet up with the Worcs crew.

Matty,
I'll bring some ear defenders along so I can't hear the misses moaning about the speed

Tony,
Been in touch with Jason - he wouldn't mind convoying with you. Do you wanna call him to arrange times etc?
EVERYBODY -
Can we have a head count coz I'm toying with calling the pub and warning them of large food orders (not directed at Karen!!
)

I think you'll be surprised how fast a scoob can go when so-called "running-in"
Actually, it wasn't so much running-in, as a case of not letting the engine rev too long at same rpm when driving, so that gave me ample opportunity to "play with the gears" and boost "occasionally"

At this rate, I could be turning up in the Micra!!!
Had the Scoob back 1 week and noticed a 'few' problems...
Allow me to explain:-
1. Splash guarding inside driver's front wheelarch - torn out - pegs not replaced. (No wonder it 'flapped' going down the motorway!!!!)
2. Windscreen wash hadn't been re-attached to the wipers!!! (again, rather concerning driving down the motorway with smeared window!!!)
3. Driver's window now shuts with a 'clunk!!'
4. Windshield beading not re-attached properly (does wonders for road noise!)
5. Scuff on the rear door (where it had been resprayed!!)
6. Interior door handle not re-attached!!! Couldn't get out of the car!
hmmm..... all this after having the car for an extra week..
Fingers crossed I'll have it back for the weekend!!!

It was an 'insurance approved' repairer....
They wouldn't let me use a dealer - no courtesy car!!
Still should have my buckets for the weekend!
Still, might look stupid with a couple of buckets in the front!!

B in touch this week

Right, what time on Sunday ?
Can we make it early (ish) as I wouldn't mind heading up Northampton way for the RallyX in the afternoon.
Squizz, where and when on Sunday to meet and convoy ?
Cheers

Having phoned "The Vine" @ Kinver I understand that the pub is open all day from noon, and Sunday Roasts (£4.95) are normally only bookable or until they "run-out"; there is also a Main Course menu with prices starting from about £6.
With this in mind, is it still arranged for meeting up at 1.30pm, as it may be too late for those wishing to eat a hearty meal before a "ride thro' the countryside"
Tony,
Don't be lonely
