I am definately coming. Do you need an answer for Gem or do you just need to Know the number of cars and tents?

If its just cars and tents then I'll be in one car with one tent. Gem changes her mind at the last minute. At the moment she isn't coming but I may bring a mate. Let me know how and when you want payment.

I've just this week had induction kit fitted(so it will probably bugger the MAF and shut down) car lowerd (so it will bottom out over every jump) and the bump steer removed (so I'll **** end into the first tree I see)Now you know why Gem dosn't want to come.

Mellow if I stay behind you I'll have to leave a large braking distance with those 6 pots on. By the way if you havn't had your bump steer done, then get it done. The speed you can come out of tight corners is silly, and go as fast as you dare into long sweeping bends (you just need the bol*x not to back off as I've already found the tail becomes very happy when you lift off at high speed).

wrx,
I've had an anti-lift kit fited, similar I think to bumpsteer removal, on coming out of corners the car does not lift when flooring it, also I have had both front and rear anti-roll bars upgraded which has reduced roll considerably ! we'll see this weekend.

Good news

Campsite is OK for us all to turn up & pay on the day, and we have our own hillside.

Other news: Pub stop on the Saturday are asking what people want to eat

The normal menu is quite extensive & they do baesket meals as well. Here is an abridged version if you can give me some idea???

Chicken, (6 or 7 various dishes from Balti, Cajun, Chassuer etc.)
Fish, Scampi/Haddock/Tuna/Swordfish/prawns/cod
Vegi(6 choices)
Gammon/Beef/Ham/Ribs/Pork/Lamb/Venison
Pasta

etc. etc. (well I did say it was extensive)

CW,

That's great news

The hillside (and all to ourselves) will be absolutely brilliant, and the view in the morning as we wake to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore in the bay a few yards below will be fantastic.

Believe me, this is a fabulous campsite.

Only five an a half days to go, and the weather getting better n'all

Don't know if i am coming yet. Is it just camping facilities at the site or are there any kind of b&b rooms available? Wasn't impressed that the lilo went down on us last time! ha ha

Matt (WRX) insists that the bumpsteer is great, I'm not too sure!!! You can deffinatly go a lot faster but is this a good thing?

If I don't go can someone look after WRX for me! He will probably get lost!

Cheers

Hi Tigger

There are some 'fixed' caravans if that is any help, nearest B&B's would be in Aberystwyth (couple of miles away)

You could give them a call on CENSORED and ask them? (explain you are with the Motor Club camping lot on the top field)

Or you could always get a better matress

Gem, you have mail

Chris

Amanda: if it was any nearer the sea you would have to move the tents when the tide came in

It looks a bit cold though

Easy Tiger, we don't want to get the over 30 brigade too excited!

I'll pack me trunks so I can show off me six pack (shame it's hidden by a 24 pack)

Oh, anyone coming across on the A53 want to pootle over together? I got back from Shrewsbury in just under 40 minutes last weekend.

Today i spent another 11 hours touring Wales' finest roads, and i am happy to confirm that there are TWO garages selling SUL within a few miles of the camp site, which should easily allow you to get from the start, to camp, and to the end on appropriate octane. There are several other garages en-route to keep you topped up n'all!

As for Sunday lunch, if real ale (or Vodka concoctions for 'Chelle), steaks, pies, curries, fish, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pizza, and vegetarian food isn't enough to tempt you, then i am sure that we can find you a kebab van instead!!!

The weather forecast is looking good (although you may need a jumper if you want to take part in one of our 03:00am debates).

Just over a day to go now!!!!

p.s. CW - the wall can wait!

WE HAVE AN ENTIRE HILLSIDE TO OURSELVES FOR THE CAMP!!!

...with the sea gently lapping on the shores below.

Believe me, this is going to be one fabulous weekend
