I did have a less than enjoyable day, but all water under the bridge. Rather than red roses, how about a secret body motion (like Baseball players)!!!
Watch the Simpsons (softball team episode)for

Red face

Cluck, cluck!!! Not chicken but I would like to keep my car in one piece. Just me that's all as I am thinking of changing it soon! Me and squizz used to do track days & I used to rally a Lada, but you don't mind having to fork out 20 quid for a new gearbox or diff from the scrappy!!!! I would really love to have a go though

Cool

That's right mate!

My days of chasing Lotus Carltons, and outdragging RS500 Cossies are thru. The TR7V8 is now my Dad's mid-life-crisis-mobile.

As for the Scoob, I doubt the finance company would be best chuffed!

Is there a Hertz rental place nearby?

Harj - unfortunately the engine is out of the Group 4 Mark 2 escort I navigate in otherwise I would have used it..... 2.2 Millington Diamond on Weber Alpha management making about 220brake at the wheels!! Leaves 100 yard blake lines out of corners in the dry..... on slicks....... so I'm gonna have to be called a ***** I'm afraid......still you can do your best to try and frighten me........
Squizz - you missed a blinder on Fri nite in Worcester..... pulled a slapper within 10 mins of getting to Chicago Rock and 2 more followed in Tramps.....winner......the one chick I went back to her place only to be told ( on the doorstep ) her boyfriend wouldnt be too impressed if i came in..... jeez the nerve of some birds eh?? If only she said that before I spent £70 on booze for the evening.......oh well theres always next Friday..... ps the doc says the ointment will get rid of the burning sensation..........

Sorry Harj, but my impending redundancy means no spare cash for "Play cars".

As for you Rich - Email me all the sordid details!

Right then...

After the success of the Tamworth Meet, I thought it time to re-post and get this mini-meet advertised again.

All of you "fly-boys" can tell me your tales of daring do over a drink at the Crown Inn.

I'm looking forward to meeting Schuey , Scooby555 , JCM76 , Steve Wilson , and all the other guys I missed last time...

Let's hope the weather is clear and sunny!

I'm off to find a suitable hump-back bridge, actually there's one round the corner from me...hmmm...

Seeya soon, all.

Rik - are we gonna have a road trip or just a meet, eat and chat ( or in your gorgeous fiancees case: meet.....eat........eat.....) oh I feel the pain already...... Its a bit PR sensitive round here at the moment so I dont think a drive is wise......but its up to you.....I'm up for a good feed and a bitof banter with amigos....

Guys.......

Count me and the wife in.

We`ll probably be arguing which car to come in, either the TypeR or Chezzies new P1 that she picks up on Thursday

So whats the quality of your humpback bridges like then, eh?

Paul

For the benefit of Harj who can't be arsed to read the top of this thread:

"At a meeting of the "Worcester Five", last night in a local watering hole, it was decided that the next Worcester meet should be held on Sunday 4th March at the Crown Inn at Hallow. (Next to Listers Subaru!).

Kick off will be at 11.00am, but you folk are advised to come and make yourselves known due to the possibility of people arriving and leaving at various times during the day."

Ginger minge's allowing...

Suggestions for a Subaru related wedding would be greatly appreciated!

Karen and I quite fancy getting hitched at a comparatively early time in the morning, then spending the rest of the day on track somewhere. Resplendant in Morning Suit & Wedding Dress...And skid lids!

Conventional, moi ?

The best laugh I had was at a friend of the family's wedding. He's a flash git anyway (too much money etc...), and one of his m8s bought his flash car - Lamborgini (as previously owned by a certain Prince Nas). The photos looked very flash etc, until next morning. At the same time, the groom had bought his bride a prezzie - a new BMW....

Next morning the AA were called out to sort out both a Lamo and a BM that wouldn't start

Ain't life funny??

Dan

Anybody going tomorrow who's got a Silver Scoob?
Further to that, anybody got a touch-up stick or spray can (repair kit)?

After cleaning the car today in readiness for tomorrow, I put it back in the garage, only to hear the alarm going off about 15 mins later....

A f&*king cat had got in the garage when I shut it, got into the rafters, and knocked off my old Sky dish. This then fell onto my Scoob!!!!!

The result is a couple of luverly scratches that won't T-CUT or chipstick out.....

Anybody who can help shall receive a drink (maybe )

In the meantime, C U all tomorrow, bright and breezy
