I think i'd go for a red hard-top F430, although if i was going to buy any supercar it would probably be a Gallardo, Murcielago or a Vanquish

The ST did 1.34.9 on a damp track, in the fog. The Impreza STI did it in 1.30.1 on a dry track I believe, with it's swizzly tyres. In a back to back test with equal tyres, the ST would be more than a match for a WRX, imho, so they're not exactly slow are they?

the st was very impressive especially for 17K as clarkson demonstrated you will have that fast ford image. i know some people look on scoobs like that but id be seen in a wrx anyday over that st. wrx would be close to an st on track time but i think the wrx would pip it. flat 4 burble sounds miiiiiiiiiiiiles better than that volvo engine

Another good show. I'd go for the ferrari (but in red/black and with a roof) - loved the GT40 but always wanted to own a ferrari.
The car park thing was very funny - especially clutch/hand brake on the Zonda.
ST looked 100% Chav to me! Although seemed pretty quick.
Still lol from the remote control cars last week.

Does anyone actually know who the Stig is? The confidentiality clauses can't be that big surely?

It's easy for them to drive the cars round the track and surrounding area, but i thought the hole point of the test was to see them in the real world, a long journey etc. Like with the Zonda, were any of them complaining about bad backs after a couple of laps round the test track?, Did Clarkson have to refill after ever lap of the test track?
It was good and with the Ford, it's a test car, it may possibly have been the only day they had the car?, i remember there were only 3 Focus RS's for the press to use, which meant they got passed around a bit.
Sorry above was in ref to Subevo.

Only disappointment is that they've stuck with James May, not exactly the most charasmatic presenter around. I reckon they need to replace him with a female presenter (so long as it's not Penny Mallory )

James May is a well respected motoring journalist from many years ago, I personally find him appealing as a journo.
