judging by the name given it looks like he has been the pick of the litter by the breeder of the bitch used.

 

Well that will be because from the pic his markings have an even look to them, making the dog a perfect show dog. The Boxers have to have even white 'boxing mits' and the line over the head, has to be symetrical [spelling?], all very strict for Boxers in shows.

I'd love to get another Boxer, we've got Jess, she was two in Oct and i think it would be nice for her to have a companion to keep her company when were not in.....Oh and someone else for her to bug to play.

We do a fair bit of showing and your right, the flashy dogs do seem to do better. One of my mates bitches is a cracking dog !! (Quine) but due to being less flashy than most doesnt get the results she deserves.
There has been a big swing in favour of reds now over brindle. It really does depend on what that judge prefers at that given time / what seems to be in fashion.

 

Condolences from me too, we lost our first Boxer Holly 3 days before xmas 2 years ago and have just replaced her with Ellie another Boxer, I must be mad

Being a member of the pointer family and being one of the five HPR (Hunt, Point and Retrieve) breeds she is nuclear powered. And as bonkers a box of frogs...

 

Must admit i'm a Red fan, the Brindle's to dark for my likeing, although i do have a soft spot for the white's, must be the film Homeward Bound, it has a white boxer in it, and excuse the phrase, he seems a bit special.

Our last Boxer was white and yes she was very special, Ellie is red&white with a tail and i think that makes her special too

He does look great, what breed is it? Theres a dog that looks like him that walks around here sometimes but not had chance to speak to the owners as mines usually charging about like a mad hatter.

 

SHE is a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen or PBGV for short , think of hairy wire haired basset hound and you ll get the picture

 

SHE is great. couldnt tell with the long hair so took a guess

 

Boxers - the best dogs in the world in my opinion, however I am very biased.
