My baby boys..............

Edward Bear, Known as Teddy. Was abandoned in a ditch and named by the little girl that found him. Vet thought he was about 2-3 years old when we adopted him and said he was mostly Springer Spaniel. When we got him he was afraid of Cars, Men and vaccume cleaners and didn't know what a toy or treat was. Now he is 5st and full of life.

Bradock, known as Brad is a Springer Spaniel. Kennel name is Flash Attack. He is a year or two younger than Teddy. He loves his toys and is a right little Grandmas boy.

Both dogs live with my Mother, we couldn't bring them to Wales with us, our house is too small and we both work full time. So we have cats...........

Bud is a Maine Coon (the largest breed of domestic cat) he currently weighs 22lb! and is 1 1/4 years old.

Taz is a Bengal, he is 1 1/2 years old.

Here's mine.

The neighbours kids never do get their footballs back...

This is about the only photo i have of him where he stayed still long enough for me to get a picture.

The vet told me he wouldn't see Christams 2002 but he's still proving her wrong!
Oh and here's some puppies that my father bred earlier in the year.

Only one I have of "Cezzie" (Cerys) online. Shes a 6 year old pedigree Border Collie and the softest, most friendly and loving dog I've ever met!

He's only 7 weeks in the pics. That was 3weeks ago he is a bit bigger now and has got a load more wrinkles.

Randal's an ****. For one he's not a strangers best friend. Get's very pissed off when people he doesn't trust try to pat him on the head, smack him in the face and you're fine.

He ****s like a man, a drunk man who doesn't have to clean up after himself, so I've had to deal with a poo fountain... right in front of my nice open fire. Won't **** in the garden, but the living room... that's fine.

When you can **** like a man, you can puke like a man, he's puked in just about every room in the house, and my bed. Eventually he coughed up the chinese tin he'd pinched.

He hasn't eaten much in a year, just my PSP, a whole cooked chicken and my lucky shoes... the day before an important meeting... plus, anything that looks remotely like a dog toy! Not forgeting the aformentioned tin.. which prompted a vets bill.

My comfy sofa's have been replaced by frankly horrible leather ones, cotton sofas and slobbering, hairy dogs don't go well together.

He's an **** alright.

Sometimes I wouldn't mind a "most friendly / loving / softest dog I've ever known" but I don't think I could live with one.

Major redeeming factor is we're off out in a minute, the fireworks have died down, the streets are empty and we both need the excercise.

What happened to the paw?
She was involved in an RTA. The owners couldn't afford the surgery so rather than put her to sleep they signed her over to the practice to be re-homed. (my wife is a vet btw). Several of the bones in her leg were shattered and she had to have plates inserted to hold it all back together. We then found out she was pregnant and has been with us since.

There are 5 white (4 male, 1 female) and 3 red (2 male, 1 female).

Cheers

Steve.

We were going to breed Jess [they do say you should let them have a litter] but she developed this tar like stuff in between the pads on her paws, it's all cleared up luckily, but the vet did mention it could be hereditary, so we decided it might not be fair to pass this on, so we may look at getting a boy pup.

They? Who is this "they" you speak of ??
I dont get this 'give them one go of it then get them done' thing.
IMO the dog should be bred if it will improve the breed which in itself is a science. The problem is there are too many people willing to try and make a quick buck off a litter of "pedegree" dogs and at £500 + it must be tempting but what ends up happening is genetic faults riddle the breed and then it all goes to **** beit hip, eyes, skin, temprement, ect.
Not having a go at you mate. Just that there is a lot of duff info going around.

Good job on the rehoming Steve !!

PG that is the reason we decided against it, the Vet mentioned there could be no certainty that her paw thing wouldn't come back at sometime, it was really uncomfortable for her always trying to clean her paws to the point she was making them sore, i wouldn't wish that on any dog so it wouldn't be right to let her have a litter when there is a chance it could be passed on to them.
We were intending to let have a litter and keep one but after the above we decided it would be best to buy another instead.
No worries, not taked to heart.
